Chapter 541
George had heard of Saltgrass House for a long time. A few years ago, he had planned to visit, but he had to rush back due to time constraints. This time, George was clearly pleased to be able to make it here. "Charles, your wife is truly very considerate," George remarked.
Noelle and Teresa walked ahead. The owner of Saltgrass House, who recognized Charles, hurried over to greet them.
Seeing that Charles seemed engaged in conversation, Noelle stepped forward to greet the owner first, "Hello, we have a reservation for Celino Room."
"Oh, Ms. Shaw, correct?"
"Yes." Noelle gave a polite smile. "Please lead the way."
"Right this way, Ms. Shaw."
The group reached Celino Room, where Noelle went in first to arrange the seating. Charles and the others followed leisurely. Hearing George praise Noelle, Charles smiled warmly. "Thank you, Mr. Click. "By the way, earlier, Brian and I were discussing the West City project. Brian mentioned that the situation this time is a bit complicated?"
"It's not too complicated. We can discuss work matters tomorrow." Charles made a polite gesture, inviting George inside. Feeling slightly embarrassed, George calmed his enthusiasm.
George might not know Charles well, but Brian did. He seemed to understand Charles' intentions, so he quickly changed the subject.
At the dinner table, they steered clear of work-related topics. Charles focused on looking after Noelle throughout the meal.
Whether Noelle wanted something to eat or needed anything, Charles was always the first to get it for her. It left her feeling slightly embarrassed.
The atmosphere at their table was harmonious. George, being from Faris, spoke native Farisian. Since Brian had once been George's student, their conversation in Farisian flowed smoothly.
Teresa occasionally introduced
aspects of Westel's ancient history,
which George found particularly
fascinating. The three of them appeared to share common

interests and got along splendidly.
As Noelle ate, she discreetly nudged Charles' side and signaled with her eyes for Charles to observe Brian and Teresa.
While peeling a shrimp, Charles glanced up at Noelle. "Hmm?"
Noelle made a hush gesture and then indicated for Charles to look at Brian and Teresa. Leaning closer to Charles, she whispered, "What do you think of those two?" Charles smirked and popped the peeled shrimp into Noelle's mouth, his lips curling slightly. "Just eat."
Noelle raised her eyebrows. Though Charles did not say much, Noelle knew he understood what she was hinting at. She could not help but keep glancing at Brian and Teresa, thinking they seemed more and more suited for each other.
After dinner, Noelle suggested that Brian take Teresa home while Charles would take George back. Brian, being a gentleman, did not refuse since Noelle had already suggested it.
Noticing Noelle's subtle matchmaking, Charles simply shook his head in mild exasperation.
On the drive back after dropping George off, Noelle chatted with Charles about the day's events.
Charles mostly listened as Noelle excitedly recounted everything. He handed her à bottle of water when she finally paused. Noelle hesitated, taking the water from Charles' Band. "Dont you have anything to say about all this?"
"Not really." Charles paused, then asked, "Are you tired today?"
"Not too much. I didn't really do anything exhausting. But I think Teresa is worn out. I kind of dragged her along." Noelle chuckled.
"Oh, by the way, you wouldn't believe it. When Mr. Parker first arrived at the garden house today, the way he looked at Teresa-he just couldn't take his eyes off her."
