Chapter Celebration Invasion
Alpha Romero rented out one of the VIP sections of the hottest bar in town, The Crystal Zebra. The place was decked out in glass chandeliers everywhere and there were raised platforms with strips of color all along the ground that housed wooden tables with chairs decorated in animal prints.
The private rooms on the third story overlooked the entire club and was protected by one-way glass windows from the ceiling to the floor. Inside, the walls were covered with animal print wallpaper and each one had a different safari theme to it. The room we were in was the Lion's Den, the toughest predator in the world. Alpha said it reminded him of me.
In the twelve years I had been there, he had created a female killer who's animal instincts became the main reason she ripped and shredded her prey to pieces in seconds.
Damon walked to the semi stocked bar and grabbed a bottle of Tequila along with three shot glasses. He poured us each a shot and raised his glass.
"To the most dangerous female wolf I've ever trained. Li, when I found you all those years ago I didn't think you could even kill a fly and now you've exceeded all my expectations. You are the only person in our pack, shit probably in most packs of North America, to have ever killed 50 wolves before the age of 19. So I say, CHEERS to the most lethal she-wolf there ever was!" He raised his glass high in the air.
"Cheers." Alpha Romano and I both said as we raised our glasses.
We continued to enjoy ourselves the rest of the night. But after we depleted the bar of what little alcohol they had, we opted to return to the pack and continue the celebration there.
As we maneuvered our way through the crowd, I felt a large hand grab my ass. I cringed at the thought of someone touching me with out my permission. This guy must have a fucking death wish.
I turned around to face the idiot brave enough to touch me when he gave me a shit-eating grin and said "Hi there, sexy. I don't think I've ever seen you here before. How about we dance and then I can show you a good time. Or will your boyfriend get mad?" He said as he glared at Damon who was glaring daggers at him.
He cocked his head to the side and grabbed my hand, snaking his other arm around my waist. He pulled me into his chest as I looked up at him through my long eyelashes. Playing cute was a strategy of mine, quite effective if I say so.
I could feel Damon's presence before I heard his feet stomping towards us but I looked at him and motioned to him that I had this.
When I turned back around I licked my lips and grabbed his hand in mine, then bent his index finger back so hard, that I heard the bones of his hand cracking. He tried to pull away but I quickly grabbed his head in my hands pushing it down and pulled my knee up colliding with his nose. Blood came spurting out from his nostrils as he snarled at me.
"You little bitch!"
He lunged for me but I swiftly moved out the way and kicked him in the ass so hard he flew into the bar smacking his head on the wooden ledge. His body went limp before he crashed down to the floor blood pouring out of a cut just above his eyebrow.
By this time the whole bar had stopped and looked at me with wide eyes and jaws touching the floor.
I smirked as I walked over to the imbecile on the floor and leaned down to his ear. "Next time you touch a woman's ass, you better make damn sure you pick the right one."
I cracked my knuckles before I walked off past Damon and Alpha Romero straight towards the exit.
"I think she's ready!" Damon chuckled as they followed me outside.
Once we got home, all I wanted to do was get my shit ready to exterminate my first target. So I got all the info from Alpha and retreated to my room while everyone else carried on outside celebrating.
Opening the folder, I saw a photo of a man around my age with brown hair and hazel eyes. He had a devious look to him, something glinting in his glare that conveyed pure evil.
The longer I stared at him the angrier I became. How could he have done that to all those girls? They weren't just some meaningless piece of property that he could take and do whatever he pleased with.
I knew what I had to do and if killing this worthless son of a bitch brought any peace to any of them, well that was worth it for me.
I kept reading until I fell asleep but my mind had other plans casting images of blood splattered everywhere, dead bodies laying on the ground mangled and ripped apart. Sounds of battle in the background, loud cries of mourning wolves as their families laid strewed across the land.
I jolted awake from the sound of warning howls. I quickly rushed down the hall to find Damon giving orders in the living room.
"There was a breach in the Western border. Whitestone pack has invaded our territory. There are about 50 of them so we can easily take them out. Li, I need you to come with me." I nodded and grabbed my weapons.
"Damon, why are they here?"
He sighed and ran his hands through his hair. "They're here for you."
My jaw hit the floor when I replayed his words in my head. "Why are they here for me?"
"Li, do you remember anything about your life before you came here?"
"Not much, I just remember being lost in the woods and the night you found me."
"Your father traded you to Alpha Crane to get rid of you. He thought you were a nuisance and Alpha Crane wanted a child of his own, so they made a deal and he gave your father 10 of his best warriors in exchange for you."
My mind went back to the day I was brought to Alpha Crane's pack. He was so nice to me I knew there was a reason why. My father sold me? He handed me over like a piece of meat. I hadn't thought about my father in years. In fact I had forced myself to wipe him from my existence and after I heard that he was dead, it was easier to do.
"Li? Did you hear me?" I shook my head angry that I let myself get caught up in a daydream about that lame as excuse of a wolf.
We ran off to the end of the hall, down the stairs and out the back of the house. I halted when the stench of blood invaded my nose and the sight of dead wolves filled my vision. There were snarls and growls resonating throughout the yard and it looked like our pack had already destroyed the majority of there's.
"ELISE!" My head snapped to the right when he called my name and all the rage that had been hidden came forward. How could he buy me? He promised he would keep me safe and he didn't. He let a 6 year old wonder into the woods and get lost only to be found by someone else and turned into a murderous she-wolf.
