Chapter 61
Chapter 61
ISABEL
I heard footsteps. “Hello!” I called out again.
“Well, well, well, Jade said as she walked towards me majestically with a smile on her face.
“Atlas” We have the weak fool so what shall we do with her?” She walked closer to me with a wicked grin on her face.
1 gasped. “Where are my kids?”
“Kids” Jade scoffed
Those ba stards you had with my husband while he was still married to me? You have got to be kidding me!” She spoke with animosity.
I wasn’t surprised to find out that she was the one who took me. Why? One part of me thought she wouldn’t stay still after losing Logan but I didn’t want to always judge her for being a bad person.
Logan had left her and I’m certain now that he had a certain means to get her to leave him because she’s always going to be obsessed with him so now what’s her plan? To hurt me or to get Logan and I and the kids?
“What do you… Before I could complete my sentence, her palm landed on my cheek creating a sound.
My check hurt from the impact of the slap.
“Shut up! Who has the right to speak to me that way? Just who!” She snarled.
“You thief! All you’ve ever done to me is hurt me and steal everything that I own! Logan was with you while married to me and you had no shame! You opened your legs for a married man Are you that desperate?” She scoffed.
“That’s not true. I defended but received another slap.
“Oh please! Don’t act so righteous. What do you mean by that’s not true? You and I know you are a w h o re who is desperate for some social status if not why won’t you let go of him!” She yelled at me, her spit touching my face and I scrunched my nose in disgust.
“You bi tch! Who are you staring at that way?” She pulled my hair and I cried out in pain.
“Let me go! Leave my hair!” I cried out in pain.
“You think I’d leave it? I might as well as well use scissors to cut them because you don’t deserve anything good at all in this life! You are a thief! A bi tch and don’t deserve to live!” She screamed in my head.
When she was tired of pulling my hair, she let me go and moved back
“Where….are my kids?” I struggled with my words as I felt my head begin to bang, the impact of Jade pulling my hair out.
“Your kids? Is that what you are most concerned about!” She laughed hysterically.
“You are never going to find them anywhere because I will kill them! They don’t deserve to live. Oh, tell me. Why should they be alive? 1 will kill them because they are joy stealers and they’ve stolen mine“
“I hate them and I hate you and as soon as I’m done with you then I’d make sure to have my Logan back! Do you want to know why? Because he’s my Logan. He’s mine and not yours! He’s my mine!” She exclaimed..

“And you think I care about what you want to do! No, I don’t. I only care about Logan and what he has to do and his decision will determine my reaction. It’s not in your hands bi tch! You cant just decide.” She smirked.
Tears streamed down my check. “Please… at least allow me to see my kids. I pleaded.
“That won’t be happening.” She uttered before turning to leave.
LOGAN
“What do you mean by she’s gone?”
“I was speaking to her on the then the call ended. She left the house and t to the driver you sent came. I don’t know but it’s new and making me worry and all I need is for my best friend to be alright.”
“I am on my way now. They will be fine. It’s not possible for her not to be.
“I’m waiting with the driver so please come as fast as possible,” Alleline said before ending the call
My heart raced faster as I drove towards Isabel’s place. This cannot be. Today was supposed to be the beginning of a new chapter for the both of us now this has happened making me furious.
Just who could be and who knew of my plans that they had sent a car instead of making her enter.
If I find out who it is, I do not think that I’d forgive the person because nothing bad must happen to my kids or Isabel
It was as if the distance between Isabel’s house and where I was waiting was miles apart because even with the speed I was yet to reach.
The worry gnawed at my heart, urging me to drive faster, to reach her house as quickly as possible. The streets blurred past me, the familiar route becoming a mere backdrop to my racing thoughts.
I couldn’t help but replay recent events in my mind. The world had become a dangerous place, filled with uncertainty a fear. The safety of my family was paramount, and I would do whatever it took to keep them out of harm’s way.
and
As I gripped the steering wheel, my mind wandered to Isabel’s warm smile and the laughter of our children. They were my, everything, my reason for pushing forward in this chaotic world Their well-being was my driving force, propelling me forward even when the odds seemed insurmountable,
I wished for them to be safe, to find solace within the walls of Isabel’s home. The thought of them being in danger was unbearable, a weight that pressed heavily on my chest. I prayed that they were untouched by the darkness that loomed outside.
