Chapter Epilogue: Pearl’s Dream
Pearl turned over in her sleep. She hasn’t dreamed, in so long.
‘What a magnificent creature, no?’
Pearl looked at the Goddess and her eyes opened wide. ‘Biason.’
Senshire’s sister looked at the Witch and smiled. ‘It is time to find what has been lost, for so long.’
Pearl looked back at the creature as it soared overhead. ‘I thought they were extinct.’
Biason nodded. ‘That is what we wanted everyone to believe. But there is one left.’ She looked at Pearl. ‘You must find this creature. Before the next Fated Mate is triggered.’
‘Are we getting another Fated Mate?’
The Goddess of Souls nodded. ‘Indeed, you are. This pair is my favorite. Please bring them back together.’ She said, then disappeared.
Pearl looked back at the magnificent creature. The green and gold scales shined in the sunlight as it soared in a circle above her. She had a feeling it felt her presence and sucked in a breath when it turned to her. She squealed as she ducked out of the way when it swooped down, barely missing taking off her head.
Pearl sat up in bed shaking and took a deep breath.
“Are you okay, Mafilia?” Dylan asked as he sat up beside her.
Pearl nodded. “The Goddesses have given me one of the next Fated Mates.”
“Just one?” He asked as he rubbed her back.
She took a deep breath. “She said that we need to bring this creature in, but she didn’t tell me who its’ mate is. Fuck.” She mumbled as she held her hand to her forehead.
“What happened?” He asked as he held her.
“The creature almost took my head off.” She said as she rotated her neck.
He looked at her. “But no one ever sees you when you dream of them.”
She nodded. “I know. This was different though.” She took a deep breath.
“So, what’s so different about this one?” He asked as he pulled her closer.
She looked at him. “They’re supposed to be extinct.”
He watched her for a moment, then his eyes opened wide. “You don’t mean…”
She nodded. “Looks like we’re going Dragon hunting.”

This book may be over but their story is not.
THIS SERIES IS A LONG INTERTWINING STORY THAT IS OVER 250,000 WORDS. I DIVIDED IT INTO 13 BOOKS, SO THAT EACH FATED MATE COUPLE HAD THEIR OWN BOOK. SO THE BOOKS ARE SHORT (BUT SWEET). ENJOY!
