Sweet Twins Indulge in Daddy's Love

Chapter 705 Participate In The Competition

Charles held onto Brandy for his dear life.

"Calm down, Charles! If you panic, we will both drown!" Brandy was choking on water herself.

Charles then let go and relaxed. "There you go. Breathe and the water should keep you afloat. I'll be taking you back to shore," Brandy said reassuringly.

"Thank you, Brandy." That was the first time the two talked,

even though they had participated in several swimming competitions together.

"You're welcome! I know you would've done the same for me," Brandy said in a very cordial and warm tone.

That moment had solidified the bond between Charles and Brandy. The man could never forget a single second of that moment.

Brandy would forever be etched in his life. After all, Charles knew that he owed her his life.

Everything made sense to Nancy. 'So that's why you pay so close attention to Brandy,' she thought.

Some time ago, Charles came by a peculiar article on the Internet. The article was about an accident that had happened in the city. As it turned out, the accident involved Brandy's parents, leaving the girl all alone. Brandy at that time was looking for a job with a decent pay.

Charles knew that Brandy had finished her degree in medicine, and that she was one of the most sought-after pediatrician in the city. That was the man's perfect opportunity to repay his debt.

It was like shooting two birds with one stone.

Brandy would be replacing Nancy in the hospital. That way, Charles thought that Nancy could finally fully tend to their family. That was all Charles aimed for.

However, Nancy would not just simply let go of her position in the hospital. She had worked hard to earn that title after all.

Because of that, Brandy and Nancy never had a chance to develop a good relationship. That had certainly proved to be a disaster for Charles.

Now, he decided to tell Nancy the truth.

"But you shouldn't have lied to me. I'm not a mean person. After all, there are so many patients in the hospital. We can have one more department for her. Why do you want me to go home? I can't stay at home." The truth gave Nancy some sort of relief. As it turned out Charles and Nancy were not romantically involved in the past.

"I just didn't expect that there would be so many paparazzi!" Charles said.

He was a low-key man before he met Nancy. But now, their names filled the city's gossips.

Initially, Charles had no idea how to handle such situations. But as time went by and as more rumors spread, the man learned to simply shrug them off.

He no longer cared about others' opinions.

What bothered Charles was the fact that Nancy doubted his love. The man truly felt disregarded due to that.

After all, there was nothing in the world that he loved more than Nancy.

Silence would always lead to misunderstandings. Having a healthy and open communication always proved to be healthy. Those two shouldn't have felt hurt for so long. The only thing that salvaged their relationship was their care for each other. Without that, no one would have lowered their pride.

"Let's go. It's time to pick up the kids," Nancy said in a rather pleasant tone.

"Okay." Charles was noticeably in a good mood as well.

They were both tired from the vigilance they held against one another.

Charles began to hope that they had already moved past their previous misunderstandings.

Little did he know, Nancy still held on to some questions regarding the club.

She decided to keep her words to herself, hoping to keep the serenity they had.

Soon, the two arrived at the kindergarten.

Nadia was playing with sand in the yard, all alone by herself.

"So, where is Bobby?" Nancy asked.

"Maybe he went to the bathroom." Charles was also confused.

Bobby had always been naughty. They didn't want the little guy to play any tricks.

"Nadia, where is Bobby?" Nancy asked once more. She was afraid that something bad had happened to Bobby.

She reassured herself that it was not the case. If it were the case, then Nadia would not be so calm.

"Mommy, Daddy. Why are you both here?" As Nadia stood up, her clothes and hands were covered with sand.

"Where is Bobby, Nadia? I'm asking you, little girl," Nancy asked the girl once again.

"He said he went on a date. Just like Daddy and Brandy! " Nadia said seriously.

With that answer, Nancy was able to breathe easily.

"Do you see what your son is doing, Charles? He has truly taken after you. Bobby is quite a fast learner, huh? He is so awesome. He even learned to date girls at such a young age." Nancy snorted.

"A date, huh? Nadia, please call Bobby over and tell him that we're going home," Charles said calmly.

"Bobby! Bobby! Mom and Dad are here to pick us up. Are you done with your date?" Nadia shouted.

"On my way!" Bobby and Ruby held hands as they made their way towards Nancy.

The kindergarten was packed with parents waiting by the gate. People saw how Bobby and Ruby walked together.

Some found the scene to be adorable, while others found it to be funny.

Nancy's face blushed red as a tomato.

"Don't mind them please. They're just kids playing a game. There's no need to take them seriously," Nancy complained awkwardly.

"He is just a kid. They like to play house, and one of them is the bride and the other is groom. Is it your first time to see puppy love? We all deserve love, no matter how young or old. Children may not know what love really is, but at least they try to express it." Charles smiled lightly, making a lighter mood of the situation.

"Mr. Fu, you can't say that. Aren't these kids a little young for romance? A few days ago, I saw an article on the Internet, saying that a little boy wrote a love letter to a little girl. Ah, he is only five or six years old. These days, children are more mature than we expect!" a woman said exaggeratedly.

"Well, it's all children's play." Nancy knew it was Bobby. Bobby wrote a love letter to Ruby and someone posted it on the Internet. Fortunately, there was no name of Bobby on it, but many people in the kindergarten knew that this woman was talking about Bobby.

"I agree with you, Director Nancy. This kind of behavior should be rectified." The exaggerated woman spoke once more.

"Ahem! Which one is your child? Does your kid have a childhood sweetheart?" Nancy wanted to get everyone's attention off Bobby.
