Chapter 942
The writing or the pages had faded considerably due to time. Regardless. Larissa could still recognize her own handwriting accurately.
Larissa Seymour, Class A
This physics textbook belonged to her!
A blurry memory rushed back to her mind,
In her senior year of high school, she had indeed lost her physics textbook.
She had looked everywhere for it, in her home, her classroom, even in the garden where she studied in the mornings.
However, she couldn't find any trace of it.
In the end, she had to save up her hard-earned money to get a new one from her homeroom teacher.
She also had to stay up all night to rewrite the class notes in her new textbook.
After nearly twenty years, she never expected to find her lost textbook here.
The assistant entered the room again and asked, "Ms. Larissa would you like something to drink?"
Lanssa shook her head and waved the physics textbook in her hand. "Does this book belong to Mr. Rogers?"
The assistant stared at the book for a while and replied hesitantly. "I'm not too sure, but everything in this office belongs to Mr. Rogers. Apart from him, no one would place their personal belongings here." Larissa understood. She asked again. "Then, do you know which high school Mr. Rogers graduated from?"
The assistant laughed awkwardly. "I'm not privy to Mr. Ragers' personal life."
Kevan's personal lile was mysterious and hidden from the public. There was hardly any information about him online.
Before the rumors about him and Ruby surfaced online, the public couldn't even match his face to his name.
Larissa didn't press the assistant further. "Wright, there's nothing else. You can leave."
She sat on Kevan's chair and tried to recall if they had come across each other during their high school years.
In addition, that picture Kevan set as his computer's home screen-was probably taken up close by him personally and rot obtained from somewhere else.
However, Larissa had no recollection of him wt alsoever. With Kevan's handsome looks, she would never have forgotten him if she had met him before, The office door opened once more. Larissa looked up and saw Kevan, who had a frosty look on his face.
His face was tense as he was still preoccupied with thoughts about the meeting just now.
Larissa was startled by his sudden appearance, instinctively, she tried to hide the physics textbook that she placed on his desk, but it was too late. Kevan's gaze fell on the textbook and he furrowed his brows. He said in a displeased tone, "Did you go through my bookshelf?
It was true that Larissa was in the wrong for going through his things without permission. However, Kevan was the one who kept her Textbook.
She had to go through all that trouble to get a new one and rewile her notes.
When she remembered what Kevan had done, her boldness returned in an instant.
Larissa straightened her back and demanded an answer. "This is my textbook! How did you get your hands on it?"
Kevan's eyes wavered and he replied nonchalantly. "I picked it up somewhere."
"Where did you pick it up." Larissa pressed further.

Larissa walked up to Kevan and stood in front of him.
She reached cut and grabbed his chin, forcing him to meet her gaze. "Look into my eyes and repeat what you said."
"I don't remember. It's been so long since your high school days." Kevan lowered his gaze and avoided meeting Larissa's eyes.
He was acting so suspiciously that Larissa didn't buy his excuse.
