Chapter 94

AUTHOR’S POV

“What?” Alpha Xander asked, completely stunned about the information he had just heard, “Who did you say you saw”

Alpha Luxwell Lord Williams said, assuring Alpha Xander that he did not hear him wrong. “I saw him while I was looking around the cave. He was tied up and I think he’s being held hostage here too. No wonder we couldn’t find him all along.” Lord Williams said and Alpha Xander couldn’t believe his ears.

Everything finally made sense now. The reason why the guards claimed to be attacked by an invincible force was because it was a witch that came to get him too.

“If Alpha Luxwell was released by the witch, why is he still tied up here?” Alpha Xander asked and Lord Williams shrugged.

“Nothing makes sense here, I honestly don’t know,” he confessed.

“Lead the way, I have a few questions to ask him,” Alpha Xander commanded and Lord Williams did as told.

He led Alpha Xander to where he found Alpha Luxwell and Alpha Xander couldn’t believe his eyes

He strode towards Alpha Luxe Well as his eyes burned with anger.

“Who helped you escape my Pack?” He asked with a glare as he dragged him up his collar. Alpha Xander’s eyes flashed with rage as he waited for Alpha Luxwell to speak up.

“I asked a question! I said who helped you escape my Pack?! Are you working with the witch all along? Is that why you had the boldness to attack my Pack in the first place? Because you know she would come and save you?” Alpha Xander scoffed in disbelief as he tried to solve the puzzle in his head.

“Will I be tied up like a chicken if I was really working with the witch? I thought you were smart?” Alpha Luxwell hissed but Alpha Xander didn’t buy his words.

“How about you explain what you are doing here then. Why are you here?” Alpha Xander glared at him and he chuckled.

“Why else? I was taken,” Alpha Luxwell hissed. “At first, I thought the person did me a favor but clearly, it’s not,” he hissed and Alpha Xander dragged him closer, intimidating him with his big body.

“Do I look stupid to you? You don’t know who the witch was but you are here. You are not working with the witch but she broke into my palace to save you. Why? Because that is what she does, right? She is meant to be a good samaritan and not some wicked witch?” Alpha Xander hissed and Alpha Luxwell shook his head.

“I was released within my perminim? I was glad that finally, I got to leave that hell hole, when a man approached in front of me. At fire. I thought whoever released me wanted us to join forces tries to man you, so I followed the nyan into the ave, but it turned out that wanted to use me as * puppen. He knew that there was no way he would be held hostage if he was truly working with the witch, but be also thought that all of this was a plan.

He was well aware of how cunning Alpha Luxwell was hence, he could be acting so that they can take him down together, but he also had a feeling that it wasn’t a lie. The witch wouldn’t need someone like Alpha Luxwell as a partner, so using him as a pawn like he had said completely makes

“Did you know when they brought Maliya here?” Alpha Xander asked and Alpha Luxwell nodded.

“I did see her when she was brought in. She was unconscious then, and I haven’t seen her until now. I bet they must have been killed…”

Alpha Xander dragged Alpha Luxwell up and punched his face before he could complete his words.

“I dare you to finish that nonsense,” he challenged Alpha Luxwell who swallowed the rest of his words immediately.

“Where is the witch? Who is she?!” Alpha Xander asked with so much spite. He wished he could see her and cut her into pieces for messing with him and touching his woman.

“What do you think? Does she tell me her plans?” Alpha Luxwell rolled his eyes. “Of course, I don’t know where she is. She might be watching us right now for all we know and we wouldn’t see her. Why do you think the whole cave is empty? Because no one is there? It’s because they are playing with magic,” Alpha Luxwell hissed as he pointed out the obvious.

Alpha Xander thought about how he fought some invincible men at the entrance and how the door seemed to be locked with a spell and he knew that something was off.

Indeed, someone was controlling everything, and maybe watching the whole thing happen.

“If that is the case, why won’t she come out?” Alpha Adonis thought to himself.

“We need to stop those people,” Alpha Gabriel said as they continued to watch what was happening from the crystal ball.

“You have nothing to worry about, Alpha. He won’t be able to open the door and Alpha Luxwell is useless too,” Sabrina said confidently.

“Alpha Xander won’t leave unless he finds an answer and gets what he wants. And how can we be so calm? We didn’t expect his assistant to find Alpha Luxwell too, did we?” Alpha Gabriel pointed, but

Chapter 94

Sabrina shook her head.

“There is no way he would know how to break the spell. He can’t get Maliya out of that room, so you have nothing to be worried about,” Sabrina assured her father as they continued to watch what was happening.

Alpha Xander couldn’t stop thinking about how to get Maliya out of that room and he thought maybe Alpha Luxwell would be able to help him.

Tm trying to open a door but there seems to be a barrier there. Do you know how I can open it?” He asked and Alpha Luxwell laughed.

“Just because I was taken by a witch doesn’t mean I have learned their spells. Of course, I don’t know how to get her out or how to open the door. If I do, do you think I’ll still be here,” Alpha Luxwell said and Alpha Xander hissed at how useless he was.

“Stay here, I will think of how to get Maliya out of the room,” Alpha Xander said to Lord Williams and he nodded in response. Lord Williams stayed with Alpha Luxwell so that he wouldn’t be able to escape even if he wanted, while Alpha Xander paced around the front of the door that he was trying so hard to open.

“Think, Xander, think.” He said to himself as he tried to recall what he had read about magic to see if they could help his situation.

Alpha Xander thought long and hard about how he could get Maliya out when an idea suddenly popped in his head.

Blood.

He read a book which says that blood can be used to break a barrier that was placed by a spell. He brought out a knife from his pocket immediately and cut himself.

He made sure that his blood dropped on the floor before using a few drops to run through the

door.

Alpha Xander prayed inwardly that his blood would be able to break the barrier because he remembered reading that if the person’s blood wasn’t strong enough, then it won’t be able to do what they needed it for.

He waited a few more minutes and wondered if the blood was going to work when the door finally cracked open.

“Yes!” Alpha Xander exclaimed as he was able to break down the door and Sabrina and her father exchanged a look.

“Who the hell on earth is he able to do that?” Sabrina asked her father in disbelief and Alpha Gabriel hit the wall out of annoyance.

“Fuck! How did he learn to do that? You should have listened to me when I asked us to stop him,” Alpha Gabriel groaned out in annoyance and Sabrina massaged her temple out of frustration.

She enched her fat out of anger as she watched this happen and she knew that she needed to do whatever it takes to get Alpha Xander out of the way because he would continue to be a potential threat to her plans.

Normal wolves would never be able to do what he did. How is he able to sever the spell and break the door open? Alpha Xander asked, still surprised and Sabrina couldn’t hide her annoyance as she watched what was happening through the crystal ball.

Just then, Claudia walked into the room with a frown on her face. She could tell that Sabrina already knew what was happening since she was in front of the crystal ball and she couldn’t hide

her frustrations too.

“Why are we not doing anything to stop that bastard? We can’t allow him to take Maliya away. We need her to destroy him completely and our plans would be ruined if he succeeded in taking her away. Why are you not doing anything?” Claudia asked with a frown.

“We can still attack him. We have all it takes to take him down. Maybe we can even kill him.once and for all right now. Why are you holding back?” Claudia looked between Sabrina and Alpha Gabriel.

“You need to learn how to control your anger,” Sabrina said as she turned to face Claudia. “Sometimes, you allow your enemies to win, not because you are a loser, but you need them to loosen their guards so that when you attack them, you will be able to take them down all at once. Now is definitely not the time to deal with him,” Sabrina said.

“He will ruin all our plans… our effort…” Claudia sighed as he paced around out of anger.

“There is always another time, Claudia,” Sabrina dismissed her and she left the room angrily.

Alpha Xander was finally able to enter the room Maliya was locked up in and his heart broke when he saw the shape she was in. She looked weak and pale as she was tied to a bed.

He moved over to her side and released the rope tied to her wrist when their wolves yelled ‘Mate!‘ At the same time.

Maliya’s eyes

widened as tears streamed down her cheeks and Alpha Xander, who knew the reason behind her tears, pulled her into a hug

Maliya broke down in tears as she hugged Alpha Xander tightly.

“Shush, I’m here, it’s fine,” Alpha Xander whispered as he patted her hair softly. He has never seen Maliya this shaken up before and he felt sorry for putting her through all of this as he made a mental note to ruin whoever did this to her.

“I want to go home,” Maliya cried and Alpha Xander nodded.

“Yes, let’s go home.” He carried her bridal style, as Maliya was too weak to walk on her own as they went out of the cave.

Lord William dragged Alpha Luxwell with them as they returned back to the Pack.

Chapter 94

As soon as they arrived, Alpha Xander carried Maliya into the room gently.

“Guards!” He yelled out and a guard came rushing in.

“Yes, Alpha.”

“Bring me a physician right now and call the Pack’s priest too. I need their attention right now,” he demanded as he didn’t know who to trust anymore.

Maliya groaned in pain on the bed and Alpha Xander dismissed the guard immediately before going back to reassure her that she’would be fine.

Lord Williams on the other hand locked Alpha Luxwell up in the dungeon, knowing that Alpha Xander would come to ask him questions later.
