Chapter 1161 Taking Your Wife Away
Julien stared intently at Sydney, unable to take his eyes off her. It was just hard to ignore her blush.
Felicia chuckled, teasing him. "Old Madam, look, as soon as Mr. Julien comes in, he only has eyes for Ms. Raines. It looks like old people like us are not worthy of his attention."
"True but normal. Whether he will choose a young beauty or two elderly people with gray hair, the answer is obvious." Holding her cup, Old Madam looked at the heaven-made couple with a smile.
When Sydney heard their teasing, the blush that had just subsided was coming back. She couldn't help but cover her face and lower her head.
Julien looked at her earlobes, which flushed even redder, and then at the two old ladies. A general idea of why Sydney blushed like that dawned on him.
His grandmother and Felicia must have teased her before he came here.
If he had come a little earlier, he might have witnessed it.
Julien felt a slight regret in his heart.
"Alright! Don't tease Leaf anymore, or she'll be upset." He put his arm around Sydney's shoulder and looked at the two elderly people, who smiled and shook their heads.
"Alright! Take your wife back. It's time for me to rest," urged Old Madam, waving her hand to dismiss them.
Julien readily took Sydney's hand and said, "Well then, we will get out of your hair."
"Go ahead."
Old Madam waved her hand once again.
Julien chuckled and led Sydney out.
As they walked along the corridor, a cold breeze blew over, finally relieving the flush on Sydney's face and giving her a chance to take a breath.
Until then, she hadn't realized the two old ladies liked to tease people so much.
And they were hinting at something with their jokes.
She had been too embarrassed to respond.
If it were Julien who made these jokes, she might not have been so shy. After all, they had been together for a long time.
When the seniors joked with her, however, she couldn't stay cool and had to listen.
God knew how desperately she had been eager to escape just now.
Fortunately, Julien had appeared on time and gotten her out of the predicament.
"What did you say to Grandma and Felicia? When I entered, your face was so flushed," Julien suddenly asked, breaking the silence.
Sydney stopped in her tracks and sullenly turned to look at him.
'Seriously? Did you bring that up on purpose?'
She had just tried to forget the teasing from Old Madam and Felicia.
'Do you mean to make me remember that embarrassing moment?'
"What's wrong?" Met with her silence, Julien blinked innocently, as if he weren't aware of his untimely question.
Sydney snorted and looked over. "Nothing, and I won't tell you."
She knew his brazen character too well. If he knew what Old Madam and Felicia had talked about how beautiful their baby would be, he might suggest that they have a baby right away. She wasn't making a fuss because this man was capable of doing such things.
"You won't tell me? For real?" Julien pursed his lips.
Sydney hummed, "No."
With that, she quickened her pace, afraid that if she walked too slowly, he would grab her and get to the bottom of it.
Julien sighed with regret, seeing her leave in a hurry.
It seemed that she really wouldn't tell him.
It was fine. He could ask his grandmother tomorrow.
He believed that the two old ladies would spill the beans.
With that in mind, he smirked and strode forward to catch up with Sydney.
But the woman in front of him suddenly stopped in her tracks and turned around.
Julien, who was chasing eagerly, was taken by surprise.
As a result, she bumped into him.
After the initial astonishment, he grinned from ear to ear, took his hands out of his pockets, and wrapped his arms around her.
That was what she was talking about his brazenness.
"Do you love me so much that you can't wait to throw yourself into my arms?" Julien whispered flirtatiously, looking down at the dazed woman.
Sydney, who finally came to her senses, blushed and intended to push him away. "What are you talking about? This is an accident, okay?"
Julien held her tightly, not giving her a chance to push him away. "Alright! Consider it an accident then. I won't say that you throw yourself into my arms because you're unwilling to be separated from me even for a moment."
His tone and look were so serious that Sydney was almost convinced.
"What are you talking about? You're making it worse, sounding like I did it on purpose," Sydney huffed, continuing to push him.
Julien naturally refused to give way. After all, she had rarely thrown herself at him.
He wasn't ready to let go yet, not before he fully enjoyed it.
Not budging at all, he continued to hold her tightly. "Okay, okay. You didn't do it on purpose. It's me who can't bear to be separated from you and throw myself at you, alright?"
He indulgently looked down at her.
His words annoyed Sydney.
'Are you implying that I started it?'
Since she refused to admit it, Julien didn't force her but put it in another way.
Sydney's face was flushed, and her chest heaved with anger.
But as she huffed, her chest rubbed against his.
Even though it was winter and they were wearing thick clothes, he could still feel her breasts.
His eyes darkened and fell on her breasts.
It seemed that they had grown much bigger.
Julien was sure that he was not mistaken.
And he was sure that they had grown bigger since they slept together.
In other words, it was his credit.
Sydney didn't notice his gaze until it grew more intense and more blatant.
Following it, she looked down. Her mind was blown and her cheeks burned as soon as she realized what he was looking at.
Mortified, she folded her arms over her chest and shouted. "Julien, what are you looking at?"
