Sir, Let’s Divorce by Victoria Nelson Chapter 70
Chapter 70
Upon hearing this, Victoria nodded in agreement.
Chapter 70
After getting into the car, a tall and straight figure emerged from the club.
Matthew’s face was glum as he silently watched the red Maserati drive away.
At the entrance of the private room, Jaime slowly walked to his side and stood side by side with him. Jaime looked in the direction that Victoria had left in. “If you really can’t leave her, why do you have to pretend like you don’t care?”
There was no emotion on Matthew’s face, so frigid that it made him feel a bit peculiar. “Which of your eyes saw that I couldn’t bring myself to leave her?”
Jaime quipped. “To tell you the truth, I saw it with both eyes.”
Matthew said nothing, yet his expression remained icy.
Jaime knew that he couldn’t convince Matthew, so he just gave him a pat on the shoulder. “As a brother, all I can say is this: Don’t do anything you’ll regret.”
Matthew said nothing, his gaze fixed on the horizon.
After a long time, he declared. “I will never have any regrets over it.”
He then spun around and departed.
In the car.
Victoria leaned her head against the window, gazing out at the scenery without uttering a word.
Sarah carefully observed Victoria’s expression. She really couldn’t stand to see Victoria in such a state. She had to pull the car over. “If you’re feeling uneasy, let me know.”
Victoria forced a smile and uttered, “It’s nothing…
“You don’t look like anything at all now! Did Matthew do something too much to you last night?”
She subconsciously saw Victoria cover the collar of her shirt to block the kiss marks.
There were too many of them on her neck, making it difficult to block them all.
“Did he hit you?” Sarah suddenly wondered.
Victoria shook her head in disbelief.
Matthew was indeed very strong on that side, and sometimes unaware of the gravity of the situation, yet he desired to see Victoria lose control more than just cause her pain.
He wanted to evoke in her both pain and desire..
“I don’t get it. What is this guy attempting to do?”
Sarah tightly clenched her fists.
Only then did Victoria look at her and whisper, “I brought up the topic of divorce to him.”
For a long time, she heard no response from Sarah.
She seemed to be taken aback and kept repeating it for a while. “What did you just say?”
“I brought up the topic of divorce to him.”
After saying hat, Victoria laughed at herself. “I never imagined I’d be discussing divorce with him one day.”
Sarali couldn’t believe it either. “What about Matthew? What sort of response did he have?”
Victoria shook her head, not wanting to remember any more.
She had never before seen him so terrifying, resembling an enraged beast.
Closing her eyes, her lips pale, she shook her head.
“Seeing her like this, Sarah seemed to understand something. ‘Forget it,’ she said, ‘let’s not discuss that ill–fated individual any longer. My dad just phoned me and asked me to prepare a few of your favorite dishes to celebrate your official inclusion in the program!
“Okay, I’ll get my things together. Let’s go see Uncle Jerry,” Victoria said, forcing a smile.

The Scott family’s villa was situated in a wealthy area, just a stone’s throw away from Chester Community.
The red Maserati pulled up. Sarah adjusted her sunglasses and asked the butler, “Is my dad home now?”
“Young Miss, the master is in the house.”
“Alright.”
Sarah brought Victoria into the house and saw Jerry busy in the kitchen from afar. “Hey, Dad!” she yelled. “I’m home!”
