Chapter 85: The Vessel Has Appeared (1)
Meanwhile, a few moments ago...
Somewhere in the Edge Of The Forest...
"Why did you suddenly stopped?" Oso, who was running with all his might suddenly halted his steps when he saw Gilbert, who was ahead of them, suddenly stopped moving. But when Oso turned his gaze ahead, he found someone standing in their way, seemingly trying to not let them pass any further.
And of course, he recognized this person well. After all, she was one of them. Who could it be other than Izel?
"What now? Are you trying to get on our way?" Gilbert asked coldly. He never thought that this woman would actually come and block their path. Even if she was as strong as him, with her alone, what could she even do against the three of them? So after a moment of pause, he then sneered coldly, "Don't tell me, you immediately become a loyal dog of someone you just met and you are now willing to sacrifice your pitiful life for him?"
Izel only smiled as she replied, "Who knows."
"Hmph! Acting mysterious huh." Gilbert harrumphed coldly as he continued, releasing a very strong aura, "Since you want to play that much, I might as well play with you. I also want to see who is stronger between us."
"Hey, calm down." But when Gilbert was about to rush towards the other party, Oso suddenly tapped his shoulder and said. This guy was really hot-blooded. Oso felt a headache just by the thought of dealing with this guy. Just why the hell was he always looking for a fight anyway? So after a moment of pause, Oso continued with an authoritative and deep voice, "Let's talk things out first."
After all, Izel was only following orders from that walking gold mine to please him. So why would they fight each other just because of it? They understood that Izel didn't want to share the walking gold mine with them that was why she was eager to chase them away. But was there really a need to go too far so as to fight each other pointlessly? Oso just thought that nothing good would come to this if they fought each other. They might only hurt each other giving birth to more strife. And strife, if not solved, would only give birth to more strife until hatred was the only thing they could see.
Hearing the other party, Gilbert, on the other hand, calmed down a bit as he stared at Oso. He didn't say anything as he retracted his suppressive aura and his urge to fight. But his gaze was telling him that the moment Izel did anything funny, he would surely make a move.
Seeing that the other party had calmed down, Oso heaved a sigh of relief inwardly as he shifted his gaze in the direction of Izel. But to his horror, the other party was nowhere to be found anymore. He frantically looked around trying to find her. Even Gilbert narrowed his eyes warily at his surroundings as even he didn't know when did the other party suddenly disappeared.
"Ah! F*ck! Let go of me!" Gilbert and Oso were still searching for Izel when suddenly, they heard furious cursing behind them. The two of them immediately turned around as there they saw Pael from a distance, struggling furiously from something invisible entangling his body. Beside him was Izel whose right hand was raised sideward and was touching the left arm of Pael.
Oso and Gilbert frowned as their gazes narrowed in displeasure. And with a cold and deep voice, Oso ordered, "Release him."
"Sure thing," Izel replied with a smile. After which, she grabbed the collar of Pael's bandit costume and with a single turn, she threw him away in the opposite direction where her master was. With eyes tearing profusely, and furious screaming, Pael was then sent flying, forming a sparkle in the sky.
"You..." Oso was fuming in anger. But before he could say any more words, he heard Gilbert by his side speaking coldly, "I told you. There's no point talking with this bitch."
After Gilbert said those words, he suddenly disappeared from where he was standing only to appear right above Izel. His fist was burning with fire as the heat of the flame raised the temperature in the surroundings and gave a yellowish-orange hue as well. After which, Gilbert threw a punch against Izel threatening to cause destruction at any moment.
"Taste My Fist!"
Swoosh!
But as if his movement speed was too slow compared to her, Izel only smiled. She then quickly jumped backward successfully dodging the furious punch.
Kaboom!
But that punch was surely tyrannical as the moment she dodged it, it collided on the ground causing a huge explosion accompanied by a loud boom and very strong shockwaves that tried to push her away.
"This guy is surely strong," Izel muttered silently after keeping a good distance away from the other party. As a Mage: Battlemage, together with his ability to control fire and his passive skill: Extreme Fire that gave additional fire damage, Gilbert was really beyond his league. And Izel wasn't confident of winning if she faced him head-on.
"You really are good at running away," A cold sneer of Gilbert suddenly echoed in the surroundings as he walked in the direction of Izel with a proud smile. After taking a few steps forward, he halted his steps and said, "I never thought that you are this weak. How disappointing."
But Izel only smiled at him, unfazed even when against his provocation. Well, she wasn't trying to fight the other party head-on. Her master only told her to keep them busy for some time. And that didn't mean fighting them directly.
After all, she knew well that she would be in big trouble once she fought them with only by herself. Especially when they worked together, she wouldn't even stand a chance against them and she might even fail to hold them down for the time being as her master was expecting.
That was why she didn't want to fight them head-on. And that was also why she separated Pael away from them. If Pael was with them, then things might get even more difficult. With that guy's great supporting capabilities and his astonishing crowd control, her speed and other abilities might get impaired by him. Coupled with Oso and Gilbert, she wouldn't even have a chance to retaliate at all as she might even easily be subdued.
But even without Pael, these Oso and Gilbert were still too strong for her alone. Thankfully, she was only there to keep them busy. And that job was rather easy for her.
"Hmph! Do you think I don't know what you are trying to do?" Seeing Izel's annoying face, Gilbert harrumphed coldly as he continued, "Even if you delay us, Agila is still there to prevent that rich kid from doing anything to..."
It was at this moment when Sakim unleashed his Greed Energy. And Gilbert, upon feeling it, stopped what he was saying as he turned to see where did that enormous Greed Energy come from. What the hell? What was going on? Whose Greed Energy was that? Gilbert couldn't believe it at all but knowing that he wasn't dreaming, he could only fix his gaze in that direction with a deep frown. Just what in the world was happening on their leader's side?contemporary romance
Even Oso had a deep frown on his face as he stared in that direction. But knowing that this was with utter importance, he quickly ran towards that direction as he beckoned, "Let's hurry and go there! It seems like the vessel has appeared!"
Without any hesitation, Gilbert ignored Izel as he ran to follow Oso. Just like what he had said, it seemed like the vessel had appeared. This matter was far more important compared to fighting Izel pointlessly. And he wasn't that childish to chose that kind of fight over something very important.
