Seven Years of Marriage with Jake

Chapter 47

Chapter 4

All the way home, Liam looked unhappy.

I didn't need to guess to know.

He must think I was making a fuss over nothing, not only causing Aria to get hurt but also making her feel wronged.

His phone kept ringing non-stop.

While waiting at a red light, Liam opened the messages and glanced at them.

They were all from Aria, densely packed.

"Liam, don't mention this to Olivia again when you get home, okay?"

"Next time we gather, don't bring your girlfriend."

I just caught a glimpse before Liam closed his phone.

Obviously, his expression became even more displeased, but he didn't say anything.

He just gave me the cold shoulder.

I looked straight ahead and said, "If you're worried about her, you can let me out now and go back to her."

Liam frowned at me, "Olivia, can you stop making trouble over nothing?"

"Aria may be a girl, but in my eyes, she's no different from my other male friends."

"We're just bros!"

Isneered.

Some bros they are.

In my previous life, she always pretended to be understanding like this, pushing Liam into my arms, telling us to go home early.

But when I fell asleep at dawn, another phone call would summon Liam out.

I'll never forget that night.

Liam snuck out to meet her in the middle of the night, got dead drunk, and was dragged to bed.

Hearing my sneer, Liam seemed to be angered, "What are you sneering about?"

I went straight to the point, "Do bros sleep together?"

I asked him.

Liam's face reddened with anger, thinking I was being unreasonable, "Olivia Bennett, what are you thinking?"

"Just tell me, do they or don't they?"

"They don't!"

Liam didn't hesitate for a moment.

"Good."

I smiled too, "Liam, how about we make a bet?"

"If you sleep with Aria, you pay me five million, and we break up."

"Fine, let's bet!" Liam was provoked by me.

He seemed to have lost his reason.

Very good.

"Keep your word." I turned off the voice recorder.
