Chapter 26
Book 2- Chapter 17
Standing at the entrance of the civil affairs bureau with the divorce certificate in hand, llooked up at the sky. It was clear and sunny, just like my current mood.
In my previous life, he caused my tragic death. This life, just leaving him with nothing is not enough.
He likes Mia, doesn't he?
I'll fulfill their wishes.
With his current penniless state, how could Mia possibly marry him?
In this life, I want them to walk the same path!
I don't mind helping them speed up the process. I don't want to wait a year to see Ethan's downfall.
"Ethan, I wish you and Mia eternal love and an early child."
With that, I turned and left.
"Ava! You. hmph!" Ethan's embarrassed and angry voice came from behind, but I didn't look back.
I went back to the hotel, packed up my things, checked out, quit my job, and set of on the journey back to my hometown again.
This time, I was filled only with joy.
After getting home, I told my parents about the successful divorce and the lottery win.
We went together to claim the prize. After taxes and donating two million, we were left with 38 million, enough for us to live worry-free for the rest of our lives.
I bought a house for my parents in the county town, a duplex where we could look after each other while still having our own independent spaces.
Then I signed them up for a tour group.
As for me, I returned to that city.
There was still a battle of my own waiting for me.
