Chapter 23
Book 2- Chapter 14
"Dad, Mom, I'm going to divorce with Ethan."
"I don't agree!"
Dad stood up angrily, pacing back and forth: "When we tried to stop you from marrying him, you insisted. Now after just three years, you want a divorce? Where am I supposed to put my old face? Huh?" "Do you really have to divorce? Did. did Ethan do something wrong?" Mom asked cautiously. Indeed, women understand women better.
"Yes, I must divorce him! He has someone else outside."
I could only use this reason. I couldn't exactly say I had died once before, could I?
"That bastard! Divorce! Must divorce! While there are no children, divorce quickly! My precious Ava can't suffer such grievance!" Hearing this, Dad immediately changed his tune.
This is my dad who can never bear to see me suffer even the slightest grievance.
I could no longer control myself and hugged my parents, crying my heart out.
In my previous life, when they rushed over after hearing the news of my death, Dad wailed loudly, and Mom fainted from crying.
When Ethan told them I was driving back to pick them up, they cried even more heart-wrenchingly.
In this life, I will never let them be heartbroken again.
