Julia was exhausted. She leaned back on the sofa, opening Instagram. Sierra's post was at the top.

"Lotuses are beautiful, but nothing beats someone who's always

someone who's always there for you."

She posted nine photos. The middle one showed a man's hand and a woman's hand making a heart shape around the blossoms. That was Shaw's hand.

Julia's eyes filled with tears. She was about to close the popped out. She clicked it.

Shaw... be gentle... it's too much..."

Then, she heard Shaw's groan.

Julia dropped her phone. She couldn't believe Sierra would send her that; she couldn't believe Shaw went to a hotel with his ex after the lotuses!

She decided to reclaim the love she'd given him. She opened her closet, looking at all the things she'd sent Shaw over the years. Every winter, she knit him a scarf, saying it would keep him warm. Every Valentine's Day, she'd send him a Gucci belt, saying she'd tie him to her forever. One time, he kissed them, saying, "I'm so lucky to have such a great girlfriend. I'll treasure these gifts forever."

She packed everything into garbage bags, throwing them out with the photos. She would slowly erase him from her memory.

It was getting dark, but Shaw didn't come back. She showered and was about to go to bed when she heard the door. Shaw walked in, smelling faintly of perfume. He took off his coat and saw the empty

"Why didn't you put them back up?"

Seeing the numerous kisses and scratches on his chest, she said, "The screws have loosened, I can't put them back." Shaw bought it and breathed a sigh of relief."I'll help you with that when I have time." Then, he went to the bathroom.

Julia whispered, "If only things were that simple."

They slept in the same bed, but their hearts were no longer together.

The next morning, after Shaw left, Julia went to Skyways. As she entered, she heard an announcement.

"All flight crew to the conference room. A new attendant of Flight C919 is arriving today." Julia frowned. A new flight attendant?

She rushed to the conference room. Shaw and several executives were on stage. Everyone was in

their uniforms. An executive introduced Sierra, "This is Sierra Reyes, the new flight attendant for Flight C919."

Applause erupted. Julia stood frozen. It was Sierra.

Sierra walked confidently to Shaw's side, linking her arm with his."When Shaw first became captain, I was his flight attendant. Five years later, I'm his flight attendant again. It's fate."
