Salute To The General

Chapter 280 The Rising Star Of The Russo Family

Chapter 280 The Rising Star Of The Russo Family

Alfred reported everything he knew to Dip Turner.

"Rumor has it the Cross' Cross Corporation is a valuable business in Channing. And so Nathan is on

very good terms with their city officials."

"Channing authorities showed no respect to Henry Lancaster at all and instead continued to protect

Nathan Cross. And I certainly didn't expect them to punish them so harshly.

A crease formed between Dip's brows. "Oh tiny, tiny Channing, how arrogant of you!

Do they not know that Henry Lancaster was there on my orders?"

Alfred assured Dip. “I'm sure the higher-ups in Channing weren't aware of this. Otherwise they wouldn't

have dared to touch a single hair on Henry."

"No one in the South would be brave enough to go against you, Mr. Turner. No one!"

Dip's expression eased a little. "So they didn't know Henry was sent by me. No wonder they dared to

touch him."

"But since I've given my word to Kingston Zabinski to teach Nathan Cross a lesson, I can't very well

just let this end here. Who do you think would be a good candidate to send to Channing to assassinate

Nathan?"

Alfred chuckled. "Sir, we don't need to send anyone all the way from here. As far as I know, there's a

potential candidate in Channing right now. We just have to give her the order."

This peaked Dip's interest. “Who?"

"It's a family member of one of the Southern Four. Shannon Russo of the Russo family."

Dip had a vague recollection of Shannon Russo. She had both the looks and the brains, and her

scheming ways made her one of the rising stars among the younger generation in the Russo family.

Dip asked curiously, "The daughter of the Russos? What's she doing in Channing?

And she is a woman after all, will she be able to handle the task of killing Nathan?"

Alfred chuckled as he explained. "Sir, you might be unaware, but the Russo's son recently died at

Nathan's hands. It's very likely Shannon went to Channing to seek revenge for her brother."

Dip was first surprised by this piece of news, but then quickly became delighted. "Very well. You shall

go and notify Shannon Russo that she has one month to deliver Nathan's head to me on a platter.

Once done, she will be handsomely rewarded."

"Yes, sir. Right away!”

Ever since Charles Zabinski also died at Nathan's hands, Shannon Russo came to realize that Nathan

wasn't going to be an easy opponent.

What she didn't expect was receiving a piece of good news.

Apparently, Nathan had somehow pissed off the King of the South, Dip Turner.

Mr. Turner's men delivered his orders to her, which was to kill Nathan within a month and that there

would be a reward.

Mr. Turner had always been the backer for the Southern Four, so his reward would naturally be

outstanding.

More importantly, with Mr. Turner in her corner, Shannon was feeling a heck of a lot more confident.

Shannon looked at the towering, expressionless, and very lethal man standing in front of her. "Leo, I

have something I need you to do."

This person, Leo Knox, was a highly-trained man that worked for her family.

Since then, whenever they came across more troublesome targets, they would dispatch him to take

care of them.

This time, in order to deal with Nathan, Shannon decided to go straight to Leo, the Russo's secret

weapon.

Leo looked at Shannon expressionlessly. "What are your orders, Ms. Shannon?"

"Three days later, you'll host a reception at a hotel using the King of the South, Mr. Turner's name.

Invite everyone important, regardless of whether they're in business or politics, or whichever side of the

law they're operating on." Coոtent of Drąмąոovеls.cоm
