Rejection

You came up to me and asked me for my heart. I needed someone to love it because of the recent pain it went through. So I gave you my heart and you promised me you'd never hurt it in anyway possible. You kept it protected. After awhile you lost touch...You would either hurt it unintentionally or someone provoked you . but after that you would still treat it like royalty. I forgave, everything was smooth sailing from there on...until one day something provoked you so...so much to the point where you kicked my heart out. You would still care for it, but not like before. I got threatened by someone, And was forced to take my heart back. Of course I never wanted it,I still did...To protect you. I went up to you and took it back.....leaving us both heartbroken. Few days past, the pain didn't subside although you looked happy I knew you weren't because my best friend (also yours) told me "go now tell him why you did it...before it's too late)One day our bestie got so annoyed with our sad selves, that she forced us together...knowing I didn't have a choice, I confessed. You understood but for some odd reason you suggested we have a type of "Friends with benefits" but without the sexual part included. Knowing that's the only way I'd be happy, because I'd still have you...but not completely. So I my heart will be with you for a certain amount of time but after awhile I would have to take it back...

Leaving me still heartbroken 💔

Not actually a poem...just something that kept nagging me,causing me to say it aloud in school the whole day, which resulted in people looking at me like I'm crazy(even though I am 😜)So yah if you don't understand...comment and I'll explain. Please vote and comment and share.
