The feel of his hands on me disgusted me. I could smell his breath as he loomed over me, his eyes glinting as I struggled, my hands restrained. Even as I got back on my feet, he simply threw me back down again, chuckling at my attempts to get myself free.

"You could simply reject your mates you know and save yourself the trouble" he commented dryly. "Although" he paused "the idea of taking you as part of my revenge against those bastard twins appeals to me greatly." "You're disgusting" I spat out, glaring at him with hatred.

"Suit yourself. It's not as though your mates are going to be able to come and save you" he shrugged, beginning to undo the buttons of his trousers as I sucked in a breath.

I had no desire to see what was underneath his trousers. I heard the zipper being undone and tears came to my eyes as I stared towards the doorway, silently praying for somebody to come and help me. I had left Xavier and Xander downstairs, but the chance of them being able to come in time, to free themselves from the basement, was almost impossible. Even with Alpha Nikolas the door being locked presented a conundrum to them. I had wanted to give them more time, but now all I wanted was for them to come and find me. Alpha Kai kicked his trousers off and I glanced away, feeling my breath hitch as he ruthlessly walked over and began to tear off the shirt that Alpha Nikolas had thoughtfully provided me. I twisted and pulled away, btu heard the ripping sounds and then felt the fabric pulled away from my skin. He grabbed my pants and pulled them down, carelessly throwing them away. His hands tore my underwear. He pressed me down onto the bed as I tried to struggle, my hands beating uselessly at him. He chuckled, filled with amusement. "Are you sure you don't want to reject your mates?" he asked again, looking as though he wanted me to refuse.

"I don't believe that you would stop this anyway. Can't you have mercy, I'm pregnant" I tried to beseech him; my eyes pleading with him.

He gave a mirthless laugh. "Honey, I don't give a rat's ass if you are pregnant. Didn't you hear Isabelle? She wants that baby of yours gone. She's not about to let your child compete with hers for the title of Alpha. Hell" he grinned at me and leaned forward, whispering in my ear "I'll let you in on a little secret. Once your baby is gone and she's done with your mates, she was never going to let you live anyway" he divulged casually "she has a grudge against you and a score to settle."

"You're a bastard" I hissed, even as he bit my neck, causing me to cry out in pain.

I had felt his teeth prick my skin and it had hurt. His eyes gleamed. "I like the sound of that" he breathed. "The little cries you make, the sounds of pain while I hurt you. We're both going to be well acquainted with each other by the time I'm through with you" he vowed. "I'll kill you for this" I promised him shakily.

If it was the last thing I did, I would make sure this bastard never had a chance to hurt another woman again. I would cut off his manhood and feed it to the animals, I thought bitterly.

In answer he pinned me to the bed, my hands cuffed behind my back still, licking his lips suggestively. I cringed, turning my head away. He gave a soft growl, his hands beginning to move down my sides as I flinched, tightening my lips. If I whimpered or begged, it would only arouse him even further and give the bastard more satisfaction. I wanted my wolf, but there was no sign of her. I was in this alone. I could feel tears pricking the corners of my eyes. A sudden shout made Alpha Kai stiffen in surprise.

"What the hell?" he began to growl, his body stilling over mine. What the hell is that noise?" he added with a glower.

I fixed my eyes on him, unable to answer. It sounded like there was a lot of running and then I heard Isabelle scream, causing Alpha Kai to move upwards in a hurry. He was too late though. Before he could move off of me, or grab his clothes, the door to the bedroom burst open, falling off its hinges and flying across the room, hitting the ground with a heavy thud. Two pairs of eyes glared menacingly at Alpha Kai as he quickly got off of me, while I let out a small sob. They had made it. They had come for me. My mates hadn't failed me. My body trembled on the bed as another tear trailed down my cheek.

Alpha Kai looked incredulous as he glared at the two twins whose expressions were deadly.

"How?" he growled in bewilderment, "you should have been out for hours yet."

Xavier moved forward, his expression filled with maliciousness. What did you do to her?" his voice is dark.

Alpha Kai grinned, even as Xander moved, crouching beside me and examining the cuffs carefully. I gaped as he grabbed them and tore them apart with his hands, leaving me-blinking at him in astonishment. I flung my arms around him, tears gushing down my face. "Regan" Xander murmured regretfully. "We tried to be quick" he began and I shook my head, my smile watery as I clutched him tightly, not wanting to let go.

"You son of a bitch" Xavier's voice was dangerous as he addressed Alpha Kai, while Xander looked for something to be able to wrap me in and grant me a little bit of privacy.

Xander settled for the bed sheet, wrapping it tightly around me with an apologetic expression. I clutched at it as Xavier punched Alpha Kai in the face, hard, causing him to stagger backward, a look of satisfaction on his face.

"Where are Isabelle and Heather?" I asked lowly.

I couldn't forget what those bitches had done to me. Xander looked pissed. "Nikolas is trying to track them down. We were going to deal with them when we realized what danger you were in and went racing up here. The little bitches made a run for it. Nikolas is quick" he tried to assure me as I felt my shoulders slumping in defeat "Don't worry, he'll get both of them."

"I'm sorry" I whispered "I'm the reason that you had to..."

He put a finger on my lips and shook his head. "Don't ever apologize."

"Such a touching reunion" Alpha Kai sneered, wiping the blood from his mouth as Xavier and Xander moved to stand protectively in front of me. "It's a shame I didn't get to have my fun with her" he added as my mates stilled. "You're a dead man" Xavier broke the silence.

I was surprised to see that he was beginning to shift, right there in the room. Alpha Kai's eyes gleamed. "If it's a fight that you want, then a fight we shall have" he declared. Xander picked me up bridal style and ran towards the doorway, a look of panic on his face as I tried desperately to glance over my shoulder.

"Xander, we have to help him" I blurted out, trying to free myself as Xander refused to let go of me.

"If they both shift in there, there's no room. We can go and wait outside. It's too dangerous" he panted "and considering how murderous both Xavier and I feel, we should get you far away from where you might be hurt." "But Xavier" I continued to protest, as Xander raced downstairs with me held tightly in his arms.

He winked at me. "Princess don't worry about him. Alpha Kai's about to get a valuable lesson in what happens to a man who touches our mate, let alone hurts her. We can watch the fight while we wait for Nikolas to report back."

I snuggled in my mate's arms as we ran outside, Xander's expression nonchalant, even as he scanned the surroundings for signs of Nikolas and the women. I wondered what he was thinking and if it had been hard for him to allow Isabelle to run off while rescuing me. However, the tight way he was holding me, the determination on his face, and the gentle way that he placed me on the ground all indicated that his love for me, and the care he had, had not changed. I was just sorry that once again, I had made him choose between me and Isabelle, knowing that he wanted Isabelle to pay for everything she had done and that he wanted his child, the one that Isabelle carried, even though it might cause conflict between all three of us.
