Chapter Refusing 163
Chapter 163
The drunk Julia was especially noisy. Ever since she was forcefully brought out of Valerie's house by Harry, she had started to bombard Harry's ears when she got into the car. Her blurry eyes stared fixedly at Harry, who was focused on driving. Harry was so charming in the dark. Julia's heart had butterflies and she even saw a faint halo around this man. Even if he was an asshole, it did not stop him from exuding his damn charm.
Julia supported her cheek with one hand. "God gave you this face to harm women. Everyone says that you are efficient and resolute. I think it's all nonsense!"
"Efficient and resolute? You're just indecisive. Do all men like you enjoy the feeling of being surrounded by women? Will that make you feel superior? Or proud?"
No matter what Julia said, Harry ignored her. He would settle the score with her tomorrow morning when Julia woke up. Julia snorted. "Arya is hypocritical. But you always treat her as a treasure. So what if you promised her brother?" The smug smile on Arya's face appeared in Julia's mind as she gritted her teeth in hatred. "I didn't offend you, but you guys are always bringing trouble to me. Why? Is this what I deserve? Do I deserve to be tortured by you guys?" Harry sighed faintly. "No."
"In your eyes, I'm just toilet paper," Julia said angrily.
As long as Arya had the chance to provoke her, she even had to consider Harry's feelings and silently suppress the grievances in her heart. However, he had promised her on the surface that he would not have any more entanglements with Arya. In the blink of an eye, he went to look for Arya again.
Julia sighed. "I don't want to be the barrier between you and Arya at all. Harry, can you just end it now?"
"I don't like Arya." Harry tried to patiently chat with the drunk Julia. Before this, he had never heard so much dissatisfaction from her and thought that Julia would not care about these things at all.
"You said you don't like Arya, but what you did made it hard for me to believe your words," Julia said as she began to cry. At first, she sobbed softly, but later on, she burst into tears.

Julia was unwilling to get close to Harry. She resisted violently at the entrance. The commotion alarmed the servants inside. When they came out and met Harry's expression, they immediately disappeared into the dark.
Harry carried Julia up to the room without a word.
He gently placed Julia on the bed, but she was still struggling. Julia subconsciously grabbed Harry's collar and pulled him to her face with her eyes widened. "Harry, if you're angry when you see Otis and me approaching, will I be sad when I know you look for Arya? "What I'm most angry about is that you hid it from me. I even had to find out through others. Do you know how I felt at that time? Of course, I know that you and Arya have known each other since you were young

Arya was a part of Harry's past, but she was only someone Harry met later.
"I don't like Arya," Harry emphasized again, but how could Julia listen? It was as if she was trapped in her own world. Even though the person in front of her could clearly be seen, her heart was blurry.
Perhaps Julia was tired from complaining. She grabbed Harry's collar tightly and fell asleep in a daze. Harry sat by the bed just like this and slept beside her.
In the early hours of the morning, a short ringtone suddenly rang, breaking the silence of the night.

Chapter 163
It was Arya.
Julia frowned with a frustrated expression. She subconsciously let go of Harry's collar and turned around with her back facing Harry
Harry slowly stood up and his body felt sore. He took his phone to the balcony and deliberately lowered his voice. "What's the matter?" "Harry, I'm not feeling well." Arya's weak voice did not cause Harry's pity.
Harry answered without hesitation, "See a doctor."
He hung up the phone and turned it to mute mode. He originally wanted to ask Julia what was going on between her and Asher, but when he saw Julia drunk, all his anger gradually dissipated. Looking at Julia's furrowed brows, he felt uncomfortable even sleeping. The next day, Julia slept until noon. She could no longer remember what had happened last night. When she woke up, her phone was about to be flooded with calls. She had no idea that Harry had muted her phone. She stretched on the bed for a while before picking up her phone. When she saw the numerous missed calls, her eyes widened in shock. She suddenly sat up from the bed and called Valerie.
"Julia, are you alright? Did anything happen last night after you came back? I called you so many times, but you didn't answer."
Julia rubbed her forehead and asked Valerie, "Wasn't I at your house last night? Why am I back again?"
"Don't you remember?" Valerie slowly told Julia everything that happened last night. Julia's brows furrowed and she gasped especially when she heard she grabbed Harry's ear, pointed at his nose, and scolded him.
"You're really crazy when you're drunk. I never thought that you would dare to treat Harry like this. There's nothing serious at the company. Ms. Powell said that you took leave. But..." Valerie deliberately lowered her voice and whispered, "But I bumped into Mr. Cooper this morning and saw bruises on his face."
Julia had been thinking about what she did last night, not in the mood to listen to Valerie talk about other people's matters She hung up after chatting for a while. With her current state, she could not go to the company. She had drunk too much last night and was still delirious. She had no impression of everything Valerie said.
Alcohol was really harmful!
When she woke up, she did not see Harry. She thought that Harry must have gone to the office. Coincidentally, she did not know how to face him. It was a good thing for her that he was not here.
Standing in front of the mirror, she realized that her clothes had been changed. She subconsciously thought that it must be Harry.
Julia stared blankly at herself in the mirror. Pale face, empty eyes, disheveled hair, and dirty face. Now she was such a sloppy woman that even she despised herself.
After washing up, she went downstairs and suddenly saw Lucia and Harry sitting in the living room. She instantly stood in the stairwell on the second floor in a daze and met Harry's calm gaze in embarrassment. Perhaps Julia felt guilty about what happened last night, so she did not dare to meet Harry's eyes and looked away almost instantly.
She hated drinking.
"Julia, I heard that you're not feeling well. Are you better now? Come and let me take a look." Lucia's friendly voice could not ease Julia's embarrassment. The short journey made Julia feel like she had traveled thousands of miles.
