Reborn Another Chance To Leave U By Hazel Ramirez Chapter 480
Chapter 480 Reina Really Kisses Him
It had been quite a while since Jaylon last saw Reina smile at him.
Ever since the two reunited, Reina had been cold-shouldering him.
Reina shared her happiness with everyone but Jaylon.
But, to Jaylon’s surprise, she actually smiled at him today.
Noticing that Jaylon remained silent, Reina asked her question again. Jaylon
didn’t come back to his senses until now. Then suppressing his excitement,
Jaylon said calmly, “For you, it’s free. Let’s go.”
Reina pulled open the car door and sat in the front passenger seat.
When they arrived, Jaylon hurried to get out of the car before walking over and
opening the door for Reina.
Reina thanked him and left.
After hesitating for a few seconds about whether to follow her or not,
Jaylon decided that he might as well do it.
Then he took over Reina’s bag so as to help her carry it.
Hearst had once told Jaylon that a bit of consideration wouldn’t hurt when
staying with a girl.
Jaylon reviewed what he had done today and thought, satisfied, “Up to now, I
am quite considerate.”
When they got to Reina’s place, Jaylon returned Reina’s bag to her. “Goodbye.”
Then Reina pushed open the door and entered. But Jaylon called out to her in a
hoarse voice, “Reina.”
“Huh?”
Reina turned her head, only to find that Jaylon’s body, which was strong and
tall, had pressed down against her.
She could vividly sense his breathing, which was slightly rapid and warm.
With her heart jolting, Reina was completely stunned.
Their lips were less than an inch apart.
Before Jaylon’s lips touched hers, Jaylon stopped and looked down at her, his
eyes dark and looking cautious.
“Can I kiss you?”
Hearst told Jaylon that a sneak attack could be touching sometimes.
But that was on condition that the girl did not hate the boy.
Jaylon wasn’t sure if Reina found it acceptable.
But Reina was emotionless. She simply looked at Jaylon and asked him
rhetorically, “Do you think you can?”
The flash of hope that was there on Jaylon’s face before disappeared. Then
pursing his thin lips, Jaylon retreated a little.
At that moment, Reina, who was around ten inches shorter than him, stood on
tiptoe to touch the corner of his lips.
Jaylon held his breath.
Despite having slept with her countless times, Jaylon had never felt his
heartstrings being tugged like that.
After getting over the shock, Jaylon wanted to hug Reina, but Reina had
already closed the door and shut Jaylon outsi it.
What had just happened was like a dream to Jaylon.
But the warmth at the corner of his lips was still lingering, reminding him that it
wasn’t illusional.
Reina had really kissed him.
He had waited for so long and his persistence paid off.
Later on, Jaylon told Anaya what had happened between him and Reina.
Despite Anaya saying that Jaylon was not worthy of Reina, deep down, Anaya
was happy for the two.
It seemed that their wedding was just around the corner.
A few days later, Silvia was back from abroad.
Since Anaya had difficulties getting about, she had her female driver pick
Silvia up.
Soon, Silvia arrived.
The moment Silvia got out of the car, Anaya was stunned.
Whenever Anaya thought of Silvia, Silvia showed up in Anaya’s mind with a
disfigured face. Although Silvia had sent Anaya a picture some time ago, it was
still difficult for Anaya to put Silvia’s name on the new face.
Now that Anaya had seen Silvia in person, Anaya finally accepted it.
Silvia smiled at Anaya.
That smile was as shy and reserved as it was a year ago.
“Ana, it’s been quite a while.”
Anaya replied with a smile, “Yes. Let’s get into the house now.”
“Okay.” Silvia nodded.
The two then walked into the house together. On their way, Anaya asked Silvia
how her life was in Germany. Silvia gave a brief answer, which was full
of happiness and joy though.
After Kael took Silvia away from America, not only did Kael have a psychologist
give her treatment, but he also arranged for her to have plastic
surgery so as to help her pull herself together.
Due to that, Silvia recovered greatly, despite still being a bit shy and
frightened of being close to men.
Aracely knew that Silvia was back as well. Therefore, she suggested that
they have a meal together.
And since things between Jaylon and Reina were still in a stalemate, Anaya
then decided to include the two as well as some other friends so as to
have a dinner party at night.
And knowing that Silvia still found it uncomfortable staying with guys due
to what Bryant did to her before, Anaya only invited a few female friends to the
party. As for the guys in the house, she planned to make them stay in the room
that night.
After Hearst came back from work and heard about Anaya’s plan, he was a bit
worried. “Refrain from having unhealthy food and drinking. Don’t stay up late,
and be careful of the baby.”
Anaya threw her arms around his neck and pulled him down a bit so as to kiss
him. “Mr. Helms, you’re being grandmotherly, which is not charming at
all. Now eat and go upstairs.”
Hearst stroked her head helplessly and kissed her back while saying in a
low voice, “Got it, Mrs. Helms.”
Then Anaya came back to Silvia.
Silvia found the couple very loving. Therefore, she sighed, “Ana, what a
relationship between Mr. Helms and you!”
Anaya sat down beside her and said, “Soon, you will meet your Prince
Charming as well.”
Silvia lowered her head and said in a low voice, “Ana, you know me.
“Who would want a woman like me?”
From the moment she met Bryant, she had been sent into an abyss of
despair.
Therefore, she never expected to meet another person who liked her.
Probably, she would spend the rest of her life alone.
Since Anaya knew how the relationship between Bryant and Silvia hurt
Silvia deeply, Anaya then put a stop to the topic and comforted Silvia,
“There will be.”
Silvia smiled and changed the subject.
Early in the evening, Aracely and Reina showed up.
Also, Anaya invited Nikki as well.
Since Prudential Group had recently shifted its business to America, Nikki
kept commuting between America and Canada these days. And knowing
that Nikki happened to stay in America now, Anaya then decided to call her
over.
There was a wide terrace on the roof of the villa, with a swing, some succulent
plants, and non-flowering plants on it.
Reina was allergic to pollen, so Anaya set up the gathering venue here.
Summer nights here were noisy with birds and insects chirping. But everyone
felt serene.
The huge starry sky was like a curtain in the sky, quiet and romantic.
Anaya had people put a piece of cloth on the ground and food and colored
candles on the cloth. Embracing the gentle night wind, they started to eat and
chat away.
Since Anaya and Reina were pregnant, Aracely, who liked alcohol, then asked
Nikki and Silvia to drink with her.
Nikki, who was a straightforward person and enjoyed socializing, had fun
drinking with Aracely.
Silvia, on the other hand, didn’t want to turn down Aracely. Therefore, she forced
herself to drink some alcohol as well.
But since she was not a drinker, after a few glasses, Silvia found her face
already reddening.
