Chapter 2105 Meetings Meetings More Meetings
Chapter 2105 Meetings Meetings More Meetings
Philip's reasoning might appear a bit farfetched, but it is not completely out of possibility.
There is a good chance that they will sell the whole team out to their enemies, to use as a bargaining chip when they sense the opportunity.
Worse, they can use the whole team for a while to create chaos in Thalassa before selling them out. Double the impact. "That is why, we are not going to interact with the Sjor family directly. We know a guy, who knows a guy."
Sam paused and Night Ghost spoke.
"Ivar?"
"Yes. Ivar still has a lot of influence in the Norse region and he happens to know a Fourth Grade student in Thor's Academy who is part of Sjor family's branch lineage. He is currently competing with the offspring of the main branch and other side branches for the position of the successor.
And with them approaching the Peak of Divine Plane Transcendence, they are all neck to neck with the competition. We will use him as the entry point and make contact with the family. We can make a deal after understanding the circumstances completely.
However, the rest of the plan is going to be like this…"
Sam proceeded to explain the whole plan and the topic was concluded after they discussed their goal and approach to destroy the Thalassa first. "So, how are the squad selections going?"
Sam changed the topic after that. Even though he could get all the information he needs from the Hub's surveillance, he just let his team handle some of the things. For those things he doesn't need to waste his time checking and observing each and every move.
"We got invitations. All of us except, Night Ghost."
"That's good. I won't go into details, just pick the missions that get most amount of coins as prize. We need to remove as much coin from the market as possible."
They nodded.
Vidyuth thought of something and asked.
"It seems like the pressure was alleviated on the Zeus Academy because of Christos' plan. Even though he tried to keep it tightly under the wraps, the observant students still figured what was happening and tried to use the same methods.
The exchange center is buzzing everyday with their presence.
Is it something of concern?"
"Not really, I let them do it. I want them to pin as much hope on it as possible and I want them to mobilize more resources from their clans as well.
I already started seeing some distress among low level students. They are barely able to make their ends meet while fulfilling the weekly quota of payment.
I think within one week or so, I will strike. It will throw a huge wrench in their plans and let's see how they will handle it."
That topic was concluded and Sam brought up a different one.
"Night Ghost, the Pocket dimensions are opening. I hope the preparations are complete. I know it is a huge task, but I am looking forward to the results."
"Of course, everything is pristine and even I am looking forward to the results." Even Night Ghost grinned at the thought of their plan.
"So, care to let us in on the topic?" contemporary romance
"Yeah, tell us."
Philip and Saber Monarch asked.
"I don't want to spoil the surprise. Just make sure that when you are attending the Pocket dimensions, always bring your wrist band with you.
Apart from that, there is something else that I hope everyone is prepared for.
The Hidden rewards of the Pocket dimensions. I got some more information because of Dayus and Dean's meeting. The rewards are something called Legacy Inheritances…."
Sam explained what they are and then continued.
"If any of you are interested in one, we can arrange you to merge with it. If you are not, we can either store them for future use or gift them to some of our Students in Dusk. I am sure they will serve as sweet rewards for some huge competition."
No one spoke.
"So, students it is. Just make sure that you obtain all of them. Not a single one should fall into Dayus' hands."
They kept on discussing one plan after another for a few hours. After some time, they left and went back to their respective academies. However, on their way, they stopped at the Enforcement hall of the Academy realm and filed complaints.
Complaints against the Zeus Academy and the Dean for trying to use the Pseudo-hell as a trap and trying to kill them.
Since they have the evidence as well, the person in charge cannot reject the complaints. They didn't file a common complaint though, they filed separate complaints one by one.
When the Dean got the notices for these complaints, he almost lost it. He contacted Christos and the Student Union leader.
"I don't know what you are going to do. Go and convince all of them to take their complaints back. I already held their Deans from filing complaints against our Academy, I can't be bothered with handling the students too."
Christos sighed.
"Sir, we already have our hands full. We are trying to handle Sam's case. The attacks haven't stopped. The frequency might have reduced but the flaming skull is still attacking us. The plan we have needs all our hands on the deck."
*SLAM*
The Dean slammed the desk to the ground.
"I don't give a crap." He cursed in a low tone. He finally lost his bearing. Christos gulped in nervousness.
"Don't think that I don't know that you were behind this shit as well. From the video evidence I knew that a bunch of your forces and the rest of the noble league's forces were involved in this whole shit.
Since you started it, end it yourselves. I am already knee deep in this mess with the Instructors and Elders doing all kinds of shitty things. You might not know this, the Academy is about to fall apart. So comprehend this with your numb skulls and do what I told you to.
If the other Academies also take action against us…"
He fell back into his chair and sighed.
It has been way too frustrating for a while.
"Forget about the Flaming Skulls for now. Someone else is going to handle it. Just provide him man power and some resources if he needs."
Christos was surprised.
"Who?"
"His name is Dayus. Special Admission. He started just today. He should be at the Academy tower. If you want to know more, just follow him around for today."
They left and the Dean was alone in his office.
He locked the doors and opened up a gourd of wine before leaning in on his chair once again. He felt exhausted.
No one knows how many meetings have taken place that day. However, that was not the end of the meetings. Because as soon as Sam's friends went to their academies, they were all called by their respective Deans.
Everyone had one thing in common.
They all had a notice in their hands. And no, it is not the notice about the cases they filed against the Dean of Zeus Academy.
*BAM*
Dean of Hermes Academy slammed the notice on the table and looked at Watt.
"What the fuck do you think you are doing? Filing a complaint against me? Your own Academy's Dean? How dare you?"
He spoke through gritted teeth. Watt looked at him with his signature blank expression.
"Answer me, you little shit. I gave you some special treatment and you are getting way over in your head. Do you think I won't expel you just because you got some rank in the freshman tournament?"
"Do it."
Watt replied. Clear and concise. The Dean's face froze.
"What did you say?"
"Do it, expel me. And tell the whole world why you expelled me too, while you are at it."
There was a pause.
"What do you think you are going to gain from this?"
Dean asked.
"I am just exercising my right. The position in pseudo hell is something that I won fair and square. The Zeus Academy's student, that too a student who wasn't qualified to be in the Pseudo hell, came and tried to kill us.
They even modified the formation of the pseudo hell and got a person from Hades directly involved in the test.
I almost died there without even a chance to fight back.
When I came back and told you about the situation, what the hell did you do? You didn't even press the matter. You had one meeting with the Dean of Zeus Academy. All he did was promise you, one unconditional favor and you buckled.
Its obvious that your personal benefits outweigh your responsibilities as the Dean, so I took matters into my own hands.
I filed a complaint against Zeus Academy and I filed a complaint against you. Just get ready to go for the trial. If you want to expel me, do it. I will just file a complaint against you once again.
And unlike some of the old students that you suppressed with the threat of family, friends and some other thing, you can't do shit to me. I would die trying to get the justice that I deserve."
