Chapter 112
Eros POV
It was early morning when I was all but making my way towards the training grounds having offered to help with today's trainings I had wanted to watch and see what our warriors were capable of doing for while many had shown their skills while fighting against that of the Rogue King and his Rogues, Kai had also mentioned that we had recently gotten some new recruits as well.
'Hmm... I wonder who these new recruits are?' purrs Deimos while I continued to head for the grounds only a little further than the actual pack house which meant a little extra walking or running if I had done so while in wolf form but since it had only been 5 in the morning and trainings didn't usually start till 6 1 had decided to walk. The need to clear my head since yesterday's events still fresh within my mind.
'You know, mates strong Eros, She's all but been through hell and back and still manages to surprise us at every turn' admits Deimos to

*I know pal, but if there's one thing anyone would be able to vouch for it's the need to protect what's ours and Athena along with our pups are all that matter to us' I move to tell him.
I know and so does she, but Athena isn't made of glass, sure she might have her moments when reverts back to her old self but I blame those from the Moon Walker Pack, their the ones who have all but made mate feel like she's qualified to be our mate' remarks Deimos just as the training grounds come into view.

And I want nothing more than to go back there and beat each of them who've wronged her to an inch of their lives but I know that I can't because if I do Athena may not forgive me' I whisper, knowing that while I may want nothing more than to protect her, letting Athena have that ability to live her own life too was all essential for a healthy marriage.

Chuckling at his reply I move to push it aside for the time being, some of the pack warriors finally starting to arrive as they did. Some in which I knew from being members of my pack to those that I could only assume came from either Rick or Alex's pack. Keeping to the side, I eventually spot Kai and Seth who both arrive shortly as well, the rest of the trainees eventually arriving for today's lesson as Kai and Seth move to get things moving, unaware that I was standing nearby until needed, my ears listening to that around me.
A few minutes later..
It hadn't even been maybe 10 minutes, maybe a little more when some of the pack members began to whisper things to one another, things I had wished I had not heard as I all but growl slowly, the urge to go over to them and punch them for saying those things rising. Deimos's rage building as well for here we were training and all of sudden I had members starting off by speaking poorly of their Luna,

'Let me at them, let me at them' growls Deimos the need to take over to beat the crap out of them evident.
'No! I'm not letting you anywhere near them, you'll not only beat them to pulp but most likely kill them as well' I move to tell him, knowing it to be true for once my wolf was provoked there was no going back until he was done or you were dead. 'Come on, I promise to play nice. I'll even go easy on them' pleads Deimos.
'No! Last time' I say, not budging on letting him take over as we continue to listen to those still talking.
"Hey did you hear? They're making us train today so that we can protect some weak ass Luna" scoffs a voice softly, keeping his voice low enough so that Kai and Seth wouldn't hear them as they continued with the sparring matches they had planned for the day.

"Yea? Well I heard that she's so weak she can't even hold her own in a battle. Like come on, who willingly hands themselves over to the Rogue King, King Ezra of all people without putting up a fight" scoffs the other.
Feeling my body begin to shake with the need I all but try to stay in control of myself. The need to march over and deck them for bad mouthing their Luna, their Queen now evident to me that some of these new recruits were beginning to lack respect. 'NOW?' asks Deimos again.
'NO!' I growl, my body now making its way over to them until suddenly I move to punch them dead in the face causing them to fall back onto their ass, a look of surprise now showing on each of their faces unaware that Kai and Seth had paused training to watch and see what it was that I was doing.
"YOU! BOTH OF YOU? DID YOU JUST INSULT MY WIFE? OUR LUNA??" I yell, not taking this lightly for when we merged everyone was made well aware of who our mate was, and who their new Luna and Queen would be and judging by this one's reaction to me punching him he clearly didn't get that memo.
"N-No Alpha.. We- We meant no harm" whimpers the guy not wanting to anger his Alpha's or Kings for he knew that what they were saying was wrong but it was also the truth and one he couldn't just ignore when so many other people knew who she was too. "Really? So you're not telling me that I didn't just hear you right now as you all BUT claim to have said nothing to disrespect your Luna and Queen? That I must have imagined it" I snapped, my eyes now glaring to the one who was now on his ass in front me. "N-No Alpha, sorry Alpha, we didn't mean to be so rude, I promise, never again" whimpers the man before me, not wanting to be punished for his lack of duty or responsibility.
"I don't believe you, stand up, surely if you want to prove your metal then I challenge you to fight, winner gets to choose the other person's fate" I say, hoping he would accept my challenge just so I could put them in their place.
"No please, I beg you.. Please have mercy" begs the man again.
"No mercy. Now stand up" and then with that said do we move to spar in front of everyone who stood before us for if there was one thing that I hated it was the way other people treated my mate and now it's gone on long enough and I've all but had enough of it. No More, No More lying, No More bullshit. No More ANYTHING, come my last set of words before we move to start the fight, Kai and Seth closely monitoring me as we did.
