Chapter 65
Chapter 0065
Even Kendrick was slightly tipsy, and he had been the focus of attention. Only Jude
remained sober.
“Are you alright, Ms. Sophia?” Jude stepped forward to help her.
Kendrick took Samantha’s arm first and frowned involuntarily.
As a secretary, Samantha’s alcohol tolerance was too low.
Harley had only poured her a few drinks, and she hadn’t even finished them but was already pretty drunk.
Samantha had no idea who was holding her arm, and she felt like she was being
dragged away. Her head drooped, and a few strands of hair stuck to her flushed face.
Her eyes were dazed, but when Kendrick pulled her into his embrace and began.
walking out, she still instinctively struggled for a while.
“Don’t move,” Kendrick said in her ear in a low, deep voice.
“Let me go.” Samantha looked like she was about to puke, and she really wanted to
cast Kendrick aside.
Kendrick frowned involuntarily.
This woman really liked going against people when she was drunk.
“Don’t move,” Kendrick commanded.
He pulled her arm up a little so that she was leaning on him. It was easier to walk
out.
Samantha still felt like her stomach was heaving, but she was soon pushed by the person next to her and landed on a soft sofa.
Kendrick glanced at Samantha, who was sprawled across the backseat and curled
into a ball, about to fall asleep. He sat in the passenger’s seat and told Jude to get a
cab.
“Where to, Mi. Ford?”
The driver couldn’t help looking at the woman in the backseat, who was whining. He had seen this woman many times.
He had seen her more than Ms. Linda.
Kendrick looked at the woman lying in the backseat and smiled suddenly. He named a hotel that was under his name.
The driver was assigned. This woman was just another prey of Kendrick’s.
They had just stopped at the hotel entrance when Kendrick got down and opened the door to pull Samantha out.
“Don’t touch me!” Samantha’s voice rose, and she kicked Kendrick from where she lay on her side.
Kendrick’s face darkened. The place where her high heels had kicked him would definitely be bruised.
His patience was running out, and he stuck his head into the back seat, grabbing Samantha’s calf.
He bent down and steadied her waist with his hand while pulling her out slowly.
Her calf banged on the door because she was struggling so much, and when Samantha finally fully exited the car and was pinned in his embrace, her eyes were full of tears from the pain.
She could only remember her basic instincts when she was drunk, and after mumbling that it hurt, she raised her painful foot up and refused to walk.
She then kicked off her high heels.
Kendrick glanced at the driver next to them. He put Samantha’s hands on his
shoulders so that she looked like she was very reliant on him.
“Take a photo.”
“Huh?” The driver was shocked.
“Take a photo,” Kendrick repeated, his eyes becoming cold.
After a short pause, the driver hurriedly took his phone out and snapped some photos before handing it to Kendrick.
Kendrick put it in his pocket and looked at Samantha, who only had one shoe on. Perhaps he should be patient with her and treat her as if she were his ex–lover.
As he thought this, he picked her up in his arms. However, Samantha began struggling and yelling.
Kendrick ignored her and carried her into the lobby. The lobby manager then led him to his one–of–a–kind suite.
He put the still–struggling Samantha on the bed, and his smile widened.
The hangover headache made her not want to open her eyes. In addition, her calf was throbbing painfully.
Samantha struggled a little and then burrowed into the blankets.
After an hour, her head popped up from the soft blankets.
The curtains were half drawn, and the light of dawn fell on the white blankets,
looking dreamy and ethereal.
White blankets?
Samantha looked down at the blankets on her and suddenly jumped up, completely
awake!
The blankets in her room were striped!
When she realized that this wasn’t her bedroom and was some other room,
Samantha instinctively wanted to get out of bed.
Then, she saw the pale leg that peeked out from her blanket.
“Where where is this?” She couldn’t help crying out in shock as she pulled up the
blankets again.
She was lying in a strange place wearing only a singlet and her underwear!

She looked around the room. Even though it looked rather homely, she realized that it was a hotel and not someone’s home.
When did I get a hotel room?
She couldn’t help but think back.
Last night, she should have been discussing business with Harley, and then they’d had a few drinks, and then
Her memories seemed to have been cut with a knife, and she couldn’t remember what had happened at all.
She thought for a moment and decided that she should leave this place. She had just rolled over and gotten out of bed when a familiar voice rang out nearby. “Have you woken up? Looks like I didn’t work hard enough last night…”
