Chapter Who Is This Girl?
This sleep wasn’t an empty like the ones before. I heard distant screaming and children crying. Everything was blurry and it felt like I was moving, though I wasn’t moving myself; it was like I was stuck in my body as it moved on its own. As everything started to clear I could see that I was running on my own, I was heavy and my arm felt wet; I couldn’t stop my own movement nor could I move my head; I was at the mercy of the person moving for me. Something felt very wrong bits of what was passing me by would flicker in and out of existence. The ground was wet and I kept trying to check for a reflection; when I caught a glimpse of myself I saw a girl with long white hair and bright blue eyes, her arm was covered in blood. That’s also when I noticed the screaming was getting louder, she was moving towards the cries not away. As the screams slowly got louder I heard a pounding in my head and a feeling of pure hatred and rage was building up. The anger I felt with those machines was nothing compared to this. I tried to hold back this feeling and noticed she started running faster, it didn’t seem like she was going to stop speeding up. That’s when I heard another sound a much different scream not of fear but of anger, a scream of pure murderous intent. That’s when I felt the anger well back up, as if she knew I was here and she wanted me to feel what she did.
She finally bounded a corner and I saw where the screaming was coming from, it’s hundreds of people running as they were gunned down by soldiers with no faces. The people being shot at, I could see their faces with detail but the soldiers they didn’t have any. She stopped dead in her tracks and turned towards the soldiers. She let out another blood curdling scream and I found myself screaming with her giving in to the hatred she was sharing with me. The soldiers turned to her in a moment of panic and fired, I felt a burning sensation in my thigh and shoulder; she coughed some blood and raised her bleeding arm towards the soldiers; There was a brief pause and before I could understand what was happening the soldiers were behind us, she turned her head to watch them fall to pieces on the ground; I was still in shock of what happen when she went to work on the rest of the soldiers. I heard screams of agony by both men and women. Then it all went silent, nothing but the sound of dripping. Everything went black as I heard the screams start again.
