Nebula Book 1: His Breeder

Chapter 6

He walked until he finally located the plant he thought was needed for pain medication. After placing the unconscious female on the grass, he fell to his knees by the plant. Pulling it out from its roots, he tried to remember the procedure. Was he supposed to only use the flower?

If only Vrox was here.

Opting to use the entire thing, he snapped the plant in half and then into smaller bits. With his fists full, he used a finger to shift Nebula’s shirt aside and place the chopped plant on her stomach.

Then, he dug through the dirt that he uprooted the plant from, searching for moist dirt.

As Nebula remained unconscious, he smeared mud on her, trying to be careful with his long nails.

Leaning over, he took in her expression. It was finally peaceful. There was no wariness or pain. Unconsciousness was the only mercy that her fever and pain allowed.

He touched her forehead. It was burning hot, but the only solution he had was dunking her in cold water. He frowned. He didn’t know this area too well, so locating a body of water would be difficult.

I must try.

He picked up his sword and the female. Carrying her didn’t put much strain on his back, so treading through the wilderness didn’t take any effort. He walked in a direction that put the sun on his back, so his shadow covered Nebula’s face.

At one point, he had to place her down to slash away at vines that covered the way. When he turned to look at her and found a beast crouching just a few feet away, he threw his sword so quickly that his arm nearly dislocated from his shoulder.

He sighed his relief when he finally walked into an area of the jungle that he recognized. When thunder shook the sky, he grinned. If it rained, the jungle would cool. That is exactly what Nebula needed.

He looked up to appreciate the clouds, only to stiffen when he saw their color.

Crimson.

The red rain was going to fall upon them.

Mothers.

This was horrid timing.

He looked around. He could probably outrun the rain, but with the girl in his arms, he didn’t want to jostle her around. If he ran into a wild animal again, he would have to drop her haphazardly to be able to use his sword.

Not good. Not good. Mothers, why must the red rain fall today?

The red rain was unpredictable. For unknown reasons, it affected firstborn sons the worst. The cold, red pour made all of the men feel agitated, but for Ak, it was a hundred times worse. His cock would swell with the need to mate, his veins would pulse with adrenaline, and his speech would be reduced to growls. Whenever the red rain fell on them, his brothers had to separate because they became bloodthirsty beasts. Any gesture could be confused as a threat.

Not good at all.

The last time he had pushed Nebula to the ground with the intent to force her, he had been in his right mind. He didn’t want to begin to think about what would happen if his brain was drugged.

He didn’t want to set her fear on fire by attacking her again.

He ran in search of a place to place Nebula and found a tall oak. There was a small furrow in its base, perfect for Nebula’s size. After checking that no animals called it home, he laid her inside. Although her knees were poking out, the rest of her was protected.

Next, he searched for a place to lock himself in. With his heart still tainted and his mind drugged, he would be a danger to the female.

Spotting vines dangling in the distance, he ran for them and began swinging. Rope after rope fell, but he knew it wasn’t enough. He knew his strength. A few of these wouldn’t hold him back for long.

He returned, found a tree opposite of Nebula’s, and wrapped the vines around them. Then, he sat between the untied ends. It took him a total of fifteen minutes to mummify his legs. After that, he tied the vines around his waist. The hardest part was tying his own wrists together.

He tested the restraint. The tree groaned, and he knew that it wouldn’t hold him back for long. He would uproot the entire thing within five minutes, and then he would go for Nebula and do mothers-knows-what to her.

He didn’t trust himself to choose the right decision.

There was only one solution to this.

With a deep inhale, he bent his head down and tossed it back.

Blackness flashed and pulled him under.

There was a small tempo of pain in the back of his head that eventually woke him up. He had no idea how much time had passed but based on the fact that his body was drenched, the rain had passed.

He opened his eyes and swallowed a groan back. He had slammed his head so hard that it was a wonder he didn’t kill himself.

The effects of the red rain lasted about three hours. He figured that since his body wasn’t pulsing with agitation, then the effects were over.

He began to struggle against the restraints, but he was weak from his head injury. It took many squirming minutes later to free his hands.

Upon digging his lap out, he discovered that it was covered in semen. He must have orgasmed in his sleep. This wasn’t abnormal for him. When the red rain came, he had to masturbate the frustration out.

He snapped the vines off his legs and staggered up. After plucking a few large leaves, he wiped his thighs clean. He was so desperate to check on Nebula that his movements were fidgety.

When he ran to her tree, he found her just like he left her. The texture that covered her legs was now darker in color, but she seemed undisturbed.

Kneeling by the tree, he pulled her out. His hand fell on her forehead to check her temperature. She was cooler now, but still feverish.

Nebula woke up to disorientation. Her vision was blurry, and the sun was long gone. She was lying on a bed of leaves, and a fire burned nearby.

She sat up, her hand instantly falling on her stomach to check if her clothes were still intact. She found a collection of leaves and crumbled petals on her skin, but her shirt and jeans remained buttoned.

Her pain had become a dull ache.

Seeking the alien responsible for her comfort, she looked across the fire. He was there, staring right back.

She dropped her gaze when her stomach rumbled.

How long was I out for?

Noticing a pile of dotted, red, leafy balls, she picked one up and sniffed. No unpleasant came. Taking a bite, she was disappointed when the food was sour.

Oh well, beggars can’t be choosers.

As she chewed, she found a colorful rock lying beside her. She picked it up for inspection. To her surprise, it changed colors upon touch. The green minerals that sparkled turned a blazing red.

Is it sensitive to heat?

She played with the rock until her stomach was full, and her fatigue sent her to sleep.

When she woke up again, the fire was exhausted, and the sun had replaced it. With a clearing of her throat, she sat up, only to fall right back down.

All around her were... rocks.

Red, gold, green, sparkling, stripped, and dotted. There were piles and piles, color upon color.

Why are these here?
