Doretta nodded, understanding that Patricia and Charlie had also been through

It seemed Lawrence was indeed becoming impatient, and they should indeed be
more vigilant.
"The safety of Nicole is in my hands; I will do everything I can. The rest is up to
you and Charlie," Patricia said with a serious tone.
Doretta nodded. "Don’t worry, we will do our best too."
After a nod, Patricia looked around before quickly leaving. They had to be
cautious now, as there might be people watching them, especially Doretta. Her
identity couldn't be exposed yet, so it was better to be careful.
Doretta waited a moment to ensure no one was watching her before she left.
At the Riddle residence, the family had already finished their dinner. They were
now in the living room, keeping Nolan and Lana company while watching TV.
"Nicole, why do you seem so preoccupied? Has something happened?" Gloria,
noticing Nicole seemed troubled, couldn't help but express her concern.
