My Stand-In Groom Is A Secret Tycoon (Audrey)

Chapter 94

With that thought in mind, Dominic shuddered and chased after the two people who were holding hands.

"Audrey." He wanted to use the same trick to grab Audrey's wrist but missed.

The man in front of him held Audrey's waist with one hand and blocked him from touching her.

"Out of my way!" Dominic's eyes were bloodshot as he glared fiercely at Alistair.

He said, "Kid, don't think I can't do anything to you. If you dare to stop me again, believe it or not, I'll immediately get someone to cripple you."

Alistair raised his eyebrows noncommittally.

These meaningless threatening words were like child's play to him.

His eyes were calm, but his aura was as cold and sharp as a blade. "Get lost. If I see you pestering my wife again, I'm afraid even the Hayes family won't be able to protect you."

Dominic laughed directly. His eyes were filled with mockery and disdain as he sneered and said disdainfully, You don't even know who you are when you speak ruthlessly. Do you think you're worthy of threatening me?

"It's not up to you to interfere in my relationship with Audrey. Get lost."

He was about to push Alistair.

However, Audrey immediately assumed a defensive posture. She stepped forward and said coldly, "Dominic, what do you want me to do before you can let me go?"

Hearing that, Dominic felt as if someone had stabbed him in the heart. He could not see the wound, but it was so painful that he almost suffocated.

'Don't do this to me again, Audrey. Stop protecting other men and going against me. It is too cruel,' Dominic thought.

His face was pale, and his lips were trembling. Suppressing his pain and fear, he said in a trembling voice, "Audrey, I know I was wrong. I shouldn't have put on airs and deliberately neglected you. I shouldn't have kept in touch with Eliza when I knew you didn't like her. I shouldn't have left you alone on the wedding day.

"I regret it, Audrey. I'm sorry, can you forgive me?"

Audrey's eyes were cold, and a trace of imperceptible impatience flashed in her eyes. She was unmoved.

'What is he trying to do?' Audrey thought.

Dominic's eyes were filled with frustration and regret. He looked straight at her and said, "Audrey, give me another chance. Let's start all over again."

He even swore to God, "I promise I won't hurt you again this time. I'll treat you well wholeheartedly. If I violate this, I'll be struck by lightning and die a horrible death."

Dominic was in despair.

He lowered his eyes and begged in a low voice, "Audrey, I will give you everything you want. Even if you want my life, I will give it to you without hesitation. I only beg you not to leave me."

His trembling voice sounded like he was about to cry.

Audrey frowned. "Why would I want your life..."

Dominic was overjoyed and immediately said, "I knew you still cared about me."

Audrey was speechless. 'That's not what I meant. What does his death have to do with me?'

Dominic's eyes were filled with surprise. He seemed to ignore Audrey's coldness and asked expectantly, "Audrey, you still like me, right?"

Hearing this, Alistair suddenly looked at Audrey with an indescribable nervousness in his eyes.

Audrey pursed her lips and frowned silently as if she was thinking.

The atmosphere between the three of them was strange.

Gradually, the usually calm and rational Alistair began to worry about losing Audrey.

He wondered what Audrey would say.

'Will she agree to Dominic's request?' Alistair wondered.

Although he knew that the past between Audrey and Dominic had caused Audrey a lot of damage, it was a fact that they had been together for three years.

In the past three years, Audrey's sincerity toward Dominic was unquestionable.

Alistair wondered, 'Will she choose to forgive this man she had once loved deeply?'

Audrey had been silent for too long.

Dominic could not wait any longer. He urged, "Audrey. If you hesitate, it means you still have me in—"

"Shut up." Audrey suddenly interrupted him.

At this moment, she had completely recovered from the shock of Dominic taking the initiative to admit defeat. Her eyes were calm, and so was her tone.

She said, "Dominic, my heart belongs only to my husband. If you continue to drive a wedge between us, don't blame me for being rude."

After saying that, Audrey took the initiative to hold Alistair's hand.

Dominic's eyes were bloodshot. Thousands of words gathered in his heart, but he only felt a lump in his throat and could not say a word.
