Fiona never thought Audrey would be so cruel. She was at a loss, staring at Audrey, not even crying.

Fiona had originally believed that as long as she acted weak and miserable in front of Audrey, Audrey would surely sympathize and help her.

After all, Audrey used to be so kind to Fiona, almost as if she wanted to offer Fiona everything wonderful in the world.

She wondered, 'Does she really mean it? It's probably just for show. Unfortunately, I'm not that easy to fool anymore.

Audrey just said, "Mrs. Rhodes, no need to apologize. I don't need it and can't accept it. I have to work and don't have time to waste with you."

Seeing Audrey about to leave, Fiona panicked and quickly grabbed her hand to stop her.

Fiona exclaimed, "Audrey, please don't go!"

Audrey looked at Fiona coldly, her expression unreadable.

Fiona looked a bit embarrassed.
