Chapter 2391
She walked towards the medical equipment in the ward as she spoke. As she muttered to herself, she mindlessly pressed the top button of the medical equipment. "I'm going to destroy and pull apart all this equipment. I shall see how long you can glare at me! Why? Why can't you grant me Hendrix if you wanted to die so early? You ruined and harmed me. I'll kill you with my bare hands and witness your illness torture you to death!"
Even the ECG machine was wrecked by her.
I immediately wanted to press the distress button under my blanket after realizing that my plan was about to get exposed. I wanted to prompt the policeman next door, who was planning an ambush, to come over and subdue her.
However, Andrea hugged the ECG machine, which projected a heart rate reading of 0, and yelled in ecstasy before I could press the distress button. "Haha, she's dead. Arianna is dead. I killed her finally. I killed Arianna! There'd be no one in this world who would be happier than me! Never again!"
Her eyes sparkled with excitement as she moved closer to me. She became nervous suddenly and put her index finger on her lips and hissed. "Shh!
Arianna and Hendrix are both dead. The world is mine. I can do whatever I want! I am the queen, and I want the whole world to love me! I want the whole world to love me!"
She screamed twice and repeatedly spoke in a daze, "I want the whole world to love me. The whole world to love me..."
She walked out aimlessly while talking to herself. She seemed to be possessed and looked like she could not see me.
After a while, someone sneaked in to enquire about my situation by pretending to be a nurse. "Mrs. Roberts, Mr. Roberts told me to check on you. Are you all right? I think that madwoman probably escaped from the psychiatric department. Did she frighten you?"
"I'm fine." I shook my head. "Ask the professionals to come and restore the ECG."
"Alright, please wait for a moment. I'll go now."
I didn't bother about this nuisance. I was only entirely focused on whether Jordan would be fooled or not.
What if he didn't come? What would happen?
If he ran away, I wouldn't feel at ease for the rest of my life.

During midnight the next day, heavy footsteps were heard across the entire floor. I opened my eyes and saw@veryone who was ambushed running downstairs.
Needless to say, only Jordan was worthy of it.
I quickly untied the infusion tube that was taped to my body, put on my jacket, and followed the crowd out.
After running to the back door exit, I saw Jordan being surrounded by the police in the middle of the road.
Despite Jordan not pulling out his gun, police dared not step forward as they knew they were dealing with a daredevil. Jordan scoffed and the corners of his lips curled into a contemptuous smile as he looked down at everyone.
This worried the police. They were afraid

mind, and anyone who
approached him would be in danger.
He spotted me in the crowd almost instantly and then his eyes darkened. He asked doubtfully, "Arianna? Are you really ill?"
Without a doubt, he still came even after knowing the kind of tricks that I'd play.
I was only touched for a second.
I clearly witnessed the expression
portrayed on his face when he
threatened and scared the police. It reminded me that he was a terrifying
existence. If I pitied him and

friends in the future.
"No," I admitted frankly. "As you've guessed, this is just a trap. You have fallen into the trap, Jordan."
Hearing this, Jordan smiled bitterly. "Yes, fortunately..."
"It isn't good news for you."
