“How is she?” I ask Noah when he joins me and Asher as we are cleaning the battlefield.

“She will fine but she is in the coma.” He replies.

“How so? She lost too much blood?” Asher asks.

“I think she went too far. She drained out all her energy. Which is weird because she is powerful.” Noah replies, thinking really hard.

I can feel through our bond that something is bothering him but I know he will tell me when he will be ready and when we will be alone.

“Maybe it’s because she wore a bracelet with wolfbane and Aconitum napellus for 3weeks. She was allowed to take it off 3 days ago.” Asher explains.

Noah growls:” Why was she wearing that? It’s dangerous for her.”

“Ezra forced her to wear it while they were investing her to see if she was a threat for the pack.”

“But Ezra is her mate, no? How could he!” I say feeling my anger rising.

“Well, he didn’t know until a few moments ago. Nobody knew, except her.” He replies.

“Everything makes some much more sense now. Not why she is hiding for him but the way he was always reacted when she was around. How only she can drive him crazy.” He mutters more for himself.

“She never speaks about her past. Can you tell us more?” Noah asks.

Asher sighs: ” Even to me, she doesn’t say anything. What I can tell you is her parents die when she was 5 in a terrible accident. It was so traumatic for her that she is unable to connect with her wolf nor to shift.”

We’re interrupting by Tom and Emily who are joining us now.

“So how long did you take to kill them?” Tom asks with his signature smirk.

I look at my watch and say proudly: “47 seconds!”

I see his smile fall and he complains: ” How is it even possible.”

Emily says: ” It’s all your fault! You lose too much time trying to protect me! I’m a Lycan! I don’t need your help!”

“A pregnant Lycan, my gift. With my baby!”

“My aunt fight an Alpha, while she was pregnant with Lina, and Uncle Toni was cool with that!”

“Well I’m not “Uncle Toni” and I know you don’t need my help my gift but I can’t help myself not after what happened to Melissa.”

She sighs:” I know! You’re just so annoying with our overprotectiveness.”

“Fucking hormones!” Tom mutters. That owns him a slap on his shoulders from Emily and we all laugh.

“I told you you’re your worst enemy!” I tease him.

“We just destroy a pack! Should you not be calling your parents?” He replies to annoy me.

“You’re really not funny!” I reply.

Time to do my job.

I sigh and add:” I’m going to speak to Alpha Elijah first, then I will see if I can use his office to speak with my mother.”

“He is in the hospital. They are checking on Lana. I will show you where is it. I need to check on Lana.” Asher informs us after he has mindlinked someone.

“You’re highness!” The Luna and Alpha tell me bowing their head when we join them. Thanks goddess we are alone and nobody heard them.

“Please don’t. You can call me Lina. How do you know who I am?” I mean I hide my real face and don’t use my full name.

“You’re aura. I met your parents once. You shared the same aura.” Alpha Elijah explians.

Damn! Note to myself: Next time hide my aura when I fight.

“Can you keep it for yourself please? I’m not here officially. I just came to help a friend nothing more.”

They both nod.

“Can we go to speak somewhere more private?” I ask.

“Sure we can use my office. Follow me, please?” Alpha Elijah answers.

We are speaking in Alpha Elijah’s office for half an hour now. They didn’t really know about Alpha Nathan’s plans to attack the Lycans. Or they didn’t take it seriously when he asked for their help. I can feel how uncomfortable they are now and even if I know my presence is impressive, I can feel there is something else. We discuss a few minutes more before being joined by the Beta and the Gamma.

“Sorry if I’m bold but how do you know my son?” Gamma Sage asks me bowing his head.

“He and Lana are working with us in the agency Team L. Actually, They are both became close friends. This is why we were able to feel their distress. You can be proud of him. He will be a great Gamma.” I explain.

" Thank you. He is not the future Gamma anymore. Clint my second son is.”

“I don’t think Lana will accept another Gamma than him.” Tom says.

“We will see who my son decides to choose.” Alpha Elijah replies.

“I don’t think he will have the choice but we will see. Where is your son, I would like to speak with him.” I add.

“Can it wait? He is not in his right mind with Lana’s not waking up. And the doctor doesn’t know why.” Luna Charlize says, protective over her pup.

“She will not wake up for the moment. She used too much of her energy while using her magic. It’s going to take weeks before she wakes up.” Noah explains.

“Weeks! Can we help her in some way?” Luna Charlize asks.

“Your son might. We will have to speak with him But Before I need to call my parents to let them know what happened here today. May I use your office, Alpha?” I say.

“Of course your Hi- Lina. I will also have two guest rooms ready for you if you want to stay.” He replies.

They all bow their head before leaving the room. When I explain the situation to my parents they told me that they trust us to manage the issue and that one of us should go in the Black Wolf Pack land to find a new Alpha and manage the pack until then. I ask Tom and Emily to go as I want to stay here a bit longer. They agreed and left right away. Finally, I'm alone with my mate!

"Someone is bothering you, my Love." I ask him.

"Lana, I felt a connection with her today."

"What kind of connection?"

"Blood link like the one I share with Tom. I think she's my cousin but it's impossible. The only female witch cousin I had on my mother's side died in a fire when she was young. I wish I could ask my mother but my instinct tell me not to. It will only bring more trouble. This is so confusing!" He sighs and pinches his nose.

I force him to look at me and sit on his lap: "Then we will figure out together. We can stay here as long as we want my love."

"You know I love you sunshine!" He replies before kissing me deeply.
