Chapter 2134
Unfortunately, after Yuliana's vicious rebuke, all that happiness had disappeared like mist.
He did not intend to tell Tremaine, however.
He knew that Tremaine treated him kindly. If he told him, Tremaine would be displeased and even fiercely dress her down for him.
He didn't want that.
Although Yuliana didn't treat him well, he couldn't do the same to her.
After all, she was his wife.
When he was beaten as a child, it was Yuliana who had saved him.
Other than his family, no one had ever helped him out.
Yuliana was the first.
He may be a fool, but he knew how to repay kindness.
Later, Yuliana became his wife. Zorion had thought that he would make her happy for the rest of their lives.
And even when Yuliana did not treat him well in the future, his original intention hadn't changed throughout their time together.
After he heard Zorion's words, Tremaine gave a wry smile.
At this moment, he suddenly envied his elder brother.
His foolish elder brother.
A foolish person's thought processes were much simpler than a normal persons'. They wouldn't put too much thought into matters, nor would they suffer for it. Tremaine patted Zorion on the shoulder and turned to leave.
He had wanted to smoke alone for the whole night, but since Zorion came he was in no mood to continue. He planned to head to his study to deal with his work. He had only taken a few steps when he suddenly stopped.
Tremaine tilted his head back and queried, "Zorion, why are you here so late at night instead of resting in your room?"
Zorion was afraid that Tremaine would know that it was Yuliana who drove him out, hence he immediately replied, "My wife wanted me to rest at first, but I didn't want to. Today is my birthday, I was happy and wanted to enjoy the wind." These words seemed incongruous to others who heard it.
But Zorion was a fool anyways.
Who would doubt the logic behind a fool's words?
"Then get some rest soon, Zorion."
After Tremaine left, Zorion stood up at the rooftop alone, his eyes fixed on the night scenery in front of him
As far as his eyes could see, everywhere was ablaze with lights. It was truly a beautiful sight.
Suddenly, an idea came up in his mind.
If only his wife could come with him to enjoy the night view.
However, this idea was there and gone in a flash.
Because Zorion knew that it was impossible.
Yuliana was already annoyed from just the sight of him, so it was impossible to imagine her watching the night scene with him.
Only one person would be willing to accompany him to view the scenery.
Ruth Welmart.
Zorion's mouth parted and spoke subconsciously in a murmur, "Ruth, I miss you so much."
As soon as those words left his lips, a voice came from behind him.
"Zorion."
Zorion looked back to see that it was Qiana.
"Hello, Qiana." he greeted.
Zorion had a good impression of Qiana. Every time she saw him, she would give him a beaming smile and would often cook all sorts of delicious meals for him. Qiana ambled up towards him and said, "Zorion, I wanted to get some air and look at the night view.
I didn't know that you would be here as well."
"I also wanted to enjoy the wind and the scenery. It's an absolutely wonderful view."
Qiana giggled.
Beneath the night sky, Zorion looked exceptionally handsome.
When she just got here, at a glance from afar, he was really a very handsome man. However, the moment he opened his mouth, he revealed his actual character as a fool. No wonder Yuliana disliked him so much.
After all, who would like a fool?
But it was because Yuliana disliked him so that provided her with this opportunity.
For the past few days, Qiana had been feeling extremely aggrieved.
It wasn't easy for her to climb to the top and enjoy the glory of being superior to anyone else. However, Yuliana, that b*tch, had grasped her achilles heel, which meant that she
had to be at the woman's beck and caff.
At present, Qiana's biggest goal was to kill Yuliana.
QUMS
"Zorion, I heard that there was a servant in the Quartley Palace called Ruth." Qiana pretended to ask inadvertently.
If Zorion was a normal person, she would not dare to ask this directly. However, Zorion was a fool, and a fool could not understand schemes.
Zorion was a little surprised. "How do you know?"
He remembered that when Ruth left, Qiana wasn't around yet
"I accidentally heard it from some servants." she said.
"Oh." Zorion didn't think too much about it.
When he heard Qiana mention Ruth, a trace of dejection flashed across his face.
Because he had recalled Ruth's time here in the Quartley Palace.
An instant later, Zorion became nervous again.
He looked at Qiana and pleaded, "Qiana, did those people say something bad about Ruth? Don't believe them. Ruth is a good person. She really is a good person."
"I don't believe them. I believe in you. Since you said she was a good person, then she must be one." she reassured him gently.
Her words made Zorion inch himself closer to her.
"Unfortunately, they don't understand. They drove Ruth away, when in actual fact, I couldn't bear to let her go." he lamented. Qiana suddenly closed in on him, "Zorion, you actually like Ruth, don't you?"
Zorion was stunned for about two seconds, and then he blushed. "How could that be possible! I like my wife! I only like my wife!" Qiana sneered in her heart.
Sure enough, Zorion and Ruth had had an affair!
Her voice became even more gentle. "Zorion, don't get excited. I was just asking."
Zorion's face was still very red.
"Zorion, do you think you will be happy if Ruth comes back?" Qiana asked again.
Zorion immediately replied in a loud volume, "Of course I will be happy. I want Ruth to come back and play paper planes with me. Only Ruth is willing to play paper planes with me"
However, his tone lowered itself into a whisper, "But Ruth won't come back. They won't let her come back. My wife doesn't like her either."
A cold light flashed across Qiana's eyes.
She wasn't interested in continuing her talk with Zorion the fool. Since she had confirmed his feelings for Ruth, that was enough.
"Zorion." Qiana tapped her head as if she had just thought of something. "I forgot. Since Yuliana doesn't seem to like Ruth, if she knew that we were chatting about her, she would definitely be unhappy and get angry
at us."
Zorion immediately became nervous when he heard that.
"Then what should we do?" he asked in a fluster.
"We don't tell her that we talked about Ruth," Qiana answered.
Zorion quickly agreed, "I won't tell."
Qiana scoffed inwardly. A fool is indeed a fool, how easy it was to manipulate him.
"Then remember, you absolutely must not tell others about it." Qiana reminded him once again.
Zorion nodded like a chicken pecking for rice.
After she bid her goodbyes to him, Qiana left first. As she walked towards her bedroom, Qiana arranged the next step of her plan in her head.
Her plan to kill Yuliana off, and then blame the whole thing on Ruth.
