Chapter Chapter Three
"I'm sorry, have we met before?"
The stranger shook his head, the corner of his mouth rising ever so slightly.
"I do not believe we have," he replied, offering his hand for me to shake.
I was about to reach for his hand when Alexander's voice snapped me out of the action.
"Lyra?"
My head turned in the direction of his voice. His gaze was hard and his eyes were narrowed. I smiled at him, waving my hand. When he approached me, with Luca still in his arms, he scanned my face, frowning.
"Who was that?" he asked, his voice cold.
I glanced back expecting for the stranger to be there, except he had vanished and I was left staring in to the air. I frowned as I quickly scanned the reception, not finding him present at all.
I tilted my head in confusion, slightly weirded out by what had happened.
"How strange," I muttered lowly, trying to think if I had imagined my encounter with the stranger. "I don't know."
I turned my gaze back on my mate, and he was still frowning. I stepped closer to place my hand on his chest, in an effort to calm his overly-worked up wolf. His wolf proved that my encounter with the stranger had been real.
"Are you okay?" I asked, softly.
Alexander's eyes snapped back to me after he had been gazing hard in to the distance. Shaking his head, his eyes softened and he smiled down at me.
"I always am around you," he replied, cornily. "Luca here has been very good, but I want my Luna to myself so excuse me whilst I return him to his owners."
I chuckled softly as I watched my mate brush past me with the little pup in his arms. Luca waved to me, bouncing up and down as Alexander took big strides towards Zynthéa and Dyami.
The rest of the ceremony flew by a lot more faster than I would have liked. I hardly had enough time to catch up with Ava and Matteo, but the pair promised to have a day just for that purpose on my return from my honeymoon.
Jaxon and Evan kept reassuring me that they would take care of the pack in my absence and for me to just try to enjoy myself.
Zynthéa and Dyami were envious and wanted to swap places with Alexander and I, saying how once the pups come along, life becomes a lot harder and busier.
Once I had changed from my wedding dress to a simpler white mini-dress, Alexander ordered for Adam to take us to the airport.
After waving goodbye to our friends and family, Adam sped away from the venue towards the airport. I couldn't help but laugh softly to myself.
Alexander shifted beside me in the car, he leaned his head closer to my side, his hand brushing against my exposed thigh.
"Want to share that amusing thought with me?" he questioned, a glint flashing in his eyes.
His expression made me laugh slightly louder, but that only caused for Alexander to arch a brow, and pull me flush against him.
"Tell me," he urged, his voice low and husky. "I want an insight in to that gorgeous mind of yours."
I smiled, composing myself. "It's honestly a lame thought, not as amusing as you think," I explained, glancing up to meet his blue eyes. "It's funny to me that we are acting like humans, you know, riding cars, catching planes and all."
Alexander chuckled softly at my words, his hand around my waist squeezing gently. "Too bad werewolves can't fly, hmm?"
I gaped at him, the thought alone disturbing me. "Thank the moon Goddess for that," I retorted.
My mate erupted in to a laughter, pulling me close to his side, as he embraced me as much as he could in the small space of the car.
Bringing his lips down to my ear, he whispered lowly, "Do you know what the first thing I am going to do to you once we get on that plane?"
My breathing hitched at how seductively he spoke those words in to my ear, and I swallowed the lump in my throat loudly.
I didn't even dare turn my head to glance up at him, with how sparks erupted down my spine. My wolf was purring in ecstasy, wanting our mate to take us in the car right now. If Adam was tuning in, he had definitely heard those words.
"Alexander," I whispered, biting my lower lip as I placed my hand on top of his on my thigh.
'I am going to take you up against every corner on that plane, do you understand?'
His voice in my head and the way he spoke, made me gasp softly. As if those words weren't enough, when Alexander's tongue licked at my ear, I couldn't help but whimper in to him.
Werewolves didn't really go on honeymoons, or do the whole marriage ceremonies, but Alexander did. And I felt incredibly lucky. We had a rough start to our relationship, and some time alone away from everyone was exactly what we needed.
Except, I wasn't sure how much of that time would be outside of the bedroom. Was I complaining? Absolutely not. My wolf was relaxed, the pervert anticipating this much awaited honeymoon knowing damn well she was about to get the pleasure of her life for the next couple of days.
When Alexander kissed at my mark, I was brought back to the present. He suckled on my mark very gently, before he pulled back to glance down at me.
"You are beautiful," he told me, his finger brushing a strand of my hair out of my face. "So damn beautiful."
I blushed under his touch and leaned to rest my head on his chest, loving that we were really going to be completely relaxed in each other's company with no disturbances.
After bidding Adam adieu and all of our luggages had been boarded, Alexander picked me up bridal style and carried me up the stairs in to the private jet.
To my surprise, there were four comfortably sofa-like chairs on either side of the isle, with a sliding door leading to what seemed like the cabin crew area. Behind me was the door leading to the pilot crew.
Alexander placed me down, and guided me towards one of the chairs by the window. I raised a brow at him, but he simply smiled before walking towards the cabin crew area.
He returned with a bottle of champagne and two glasses. After pouring two drinks, he handed me a glass before taking a seat on the opposite chair.
His legs spread out in front of me, and he slouched slightly, making his long legs almost touch mine.
Bringing the champagne glass to my lips, I eyed the devilish look my mate was giving me. Taking a sip from the drink, I let the liquid burn my throat before I placed the glass on the small table on the side.
'Do I want to know what you're currently plotting?' I mind-linked Alexander, my eyes narrowing at him.
The corner of his mouth lifted slightly, before he downed his drink and placed the empty glass on the table. He didn't say anything but raised himself off of the chair and came to hover above me. His hands were on either side of me, as he leaned down, making me tilt backward until our lips were inches apart.
"First," he muttered, lowly, his voice dangerous and husky. "I am going to take you on this chair, the way I want to."
My breathing hitched, as his breath consisting of the sweet flavoured alcohol filled my nostrils. I gulped loudly as I witnessed his eyes shifting from the light blue to a much darker shade.
I parted my lips to respond back to him, but Alexander quickly silenced me by pressing his lips roughly against mine, making me yelp in to the kiss in surprise.
His hand grazed at my thighs, travelling up, making the dress go up with his finger. Alexander kissed me roughly, his hand grasping on to my waist in an attempt to pull me even closer to him.
I hadn't even noticed but the plane had already taken off, and I only realised when I could feel the butterflies in my stomach from the shift in atmosphere.
Alexander gave me no room to ponder on the thought when he tore his tie off and flung his suit blazer aside. In a swift motion, my mate had completely undone his shirt, revealing his sculpted chest.
I ran my fingers over the defined muscles, itching to let my tongue brush over them. Alexander kissed me harder, the both of us panting and moaning in to each other. Our tongues moved in sync, as his hand roamed down my sides, groping and teasing at my skin.
When his lips travelled down my jaw and neck, I tilted my head back as the pleasure intensified and I could feel the heat between my legs grow.
Closing my eyes, I moaned my mate's name lowly, as his head trailed kisses down my body.
This honeymoon was definitely going to help me relieve of all the stress that I had been feeling, and together with my wolf, we purred in ecstasy as our mate continued to please us.
