Chapter 893 Encountering people you shouldn’t see
Vivian’s scene was finished, and the crew gave her a bouquet and took a group photo with her. Just when Vivian was chatting
with Renita and was about to leave for her car when the director came over accompanied by the assistant director.
The director’s clothes were wrinkled, obviously, they hadn’t been washed for a few days. However, that seemed to be the least of
his concerns as he spoke with Vivian.
“Vivian, are you busy?” He asked.
“Not really sir, is there something wrong?”
The director coughed, “It’s nothing, it’s just that the drama is not finished. We are going to hold a celebration party for the ending.
Do you want to come?”
The director took quite the courage to approach her and he was prepared to respect her decision no matter what it turned out to
be. After all, Vivian was a star, and her time is more precious.
Being that Vivian felt the idea was great, she looked at Renita. “Can we have dinner together with the crew at night?”
“Okay,” Renita said after thinking about it for a while. She had no plans for tomorrow, and it didn’t sound like a bad thing to eat
with the director and other staff.
Renita also knew that since Vivian had to work in the circle all the time. it would be good for her to have a good relationship with
her colleagues. Once the drama is completed. If the director directs other dramas, thinking about the success of Vivian, he could
still give him a role. Renita weighed the pros and cons and let Vivian go.
The hotel that the director booked for this celebration banquet was the Kylin Hotel, which was well-known in the city. When the

lavatory.
When she entered, there was no one there. She was a bit relieved and quickly used the bathroom before coming out to stare at
herself in the mirror. It was not that long since they got her but she noticed she was already sweating and the makeup on her
face was beginning to fade. After a few more touches of the lipstick and mascara she usually kept in her purse, she smiled at her
reflection and returned to the banquet hall.
Although Arno was forced to have a blind date with King Vivian, he still walked Vivian out.
Even though Vivian was a little dissatisfied that Arno was tricked into seeing her, she was still satisfied with how the blind date
turned out. Arno had a great personality and was handsome. She felt it would be nice if it was a simple blind date.
They both conversed happily as they walked towards the hotel door.
At that moment, Vivian came out of the toilet and spotted them. She thought they were just another couple but the more she
looked, the more familiar the man looked. So she walked over quickly and called, “Arno?”
When Arno heard his name, he turned around. Seeing that it was Vivian, he froze in shock. How was she here? Ms. Stark didn’t
know what was going on, so she looked at Arno with bright eyes, hoping he could introduce her to each other.
Vivian misunderstood the situation, as expected. She was beginning to think that Arno and the new strange lady were dating.
She was in disbelief. Had Arno lied to her? Was the woman in a short skirt next to him his girlfriend? Even though Vivian was
heartbroken, she took a glance at the strange lady, wanting to see how she was better than her, that Arno would choose her over
herself.
Ms. Stark also looked at Vivian quietly. Judging from the interaction between the two, it was not difficult to see that Ms. Stark and
Vivian were beginning to despise each other.
“Arno, you lied to me?!” Vivian asked. Her face was a little red even after two glasses of wine.
Arno saw that Vivian had misunderstood, and quickly explained:
“it’s not what you think.”
Vivian glanced at Ms. Stark and found that her entire eyes were fixed on Arno so she scoffed.

“What is the misunderstanding? Do you want to say that she is your sister?”
Vivian knew that they were related at all. Seeing the eagerness of the woman next to her, it was obvious that she was interested
in Arno.
Arno was a little anxious. He didn’t know how to explain his relationship with Ms. Stark. He knew that if he said they were on a
blind date, the situation would be even worse.
Sileas and the Stark family parents had been discussing amongst themselves after Arno and Wang Vivian left the room. A
couple of minutes later they came out only to see Arno and Vivian entangled, while Ms. Stark stood beside him a little
bewildered.
Sileas’s face changed when he saw Vivian. She thought that Vivian somehow knew that she had arranged a blind date for Arno
and deliberately made trouble. She came over, looked at Vivian, and said loudly, “Ms. Swanson, what’s the matter with you?”
Vivian saw Sileas and pursed his lips. She knew that Sileas didn’t like her very much. But she liked Arno, and embarrassing
Sileas at the gate was something she didn’t want to do so as not to get on his bad side.
“Vivian Liu doesn’t know yet,” Sileas pacified the Stark family. She then turned to a confused Vivian. “That there is Ms. Stark,
Arno’s fiancee.”
Vivian’s face turned pale. Does Arno have a fiancée?
Arno’s face also changed. He didn’t know that the arrangement for him to marry Ms. Stark had been put in place until the
moment his mother spoke. He looked down at Sileas with a sullen face.
“Mom, what are you talking about?” He turned to Vivian. “I’m telling you the truth. I didn’t know anything about this.”
Sileas saw her son defending Vivian too much and was beginning to get annoyed.
“What do you mean by your question? I took you to see the parents.” Sileas went over and put his arm around Ms. Stark, and
said to him with a serious face, “I’m very satisfied with Ms. Stark and think she’ll be a better wife for you.”
Ms. Stark bowed her head shyly.
Seeing Arno guarding Vivian and not giving in, Sileas gritted his teeth and said, “Arno, let me tell you, this has been settled
already and there’s nothing you can do to cancel it.” “Mom, can you please stop speaking?” Arno blurted out.

The more Arno hesitated, the more Sileas grew annoyed.
