Mr. Neal, Mrs. Neal’s Gone with The Money by Little Treasure

Chapter 31

Chapter 31
Both sides knew they were not talking about business cooperation.
Joshua was talking about going to the Yates Group another day to talk was just a pretense. In the business world, it could not be
considered a done deal unless a contract was signed in black and white.
After Joshua and his companions left, Shirley immediately took out her phone and sent several WhatsApp messages to Cynthia.
[Shirley: Cynthia, when you married Joshua, was it because you were attracted to his looks?]
[Shirley: He doesn’t seem nice to you at all.]
[Shirley: He’s not worthy of being my brother–in–law.]
[Shirley: He’s just not good enough!!!]
In just one minute, Shirley had sent several WhatsApp messages to Cynthia. She did not know about anything else, but she did
not see any love or affection in his eyes when he looked at Cynthia. If it were not for Cynthia hiding her true identity, Shirley
would have suspected he was only interested in Cynthia’s money!
Cynthia felt her phone vibrate, and she knew it was Shirley’s barrage of messages. However, she did not read them immediately
since Joshua was still there.
“Are you that good?” Joshua stood in front of the car, looking down at her and asking.
For some reason, Cynthia found it hard to be polite. “It’s not a problem for me to hit you.”
Joshua and Yoel were speechless.
“Did you feel like you finally have someone to rely on when Shirley told you she wanted to introduce you to a wealthy guy?”
Joshua was holding back his anger.
Cynthia just wanted to make him angry. “That’s right.”
This made Joshua really angry.
Unfortunately, Joshua tended to say regrettable things when he was angry.

“Do you really think those wealthy guys would be interested in you? Even if you worked as Ms. Yates’s bodyguard before, it only
proves that you were just a former employee of the Yates family.”
“Dream on. You’re not Cinderella, where your life can turn around overnight. That only happens in children’s fairy tales.” Joshua’s
words were harsh as he continued, “Even if those wealthy men pay attention to you later, it’s only because of the Yates family’s
name.”
He knew this circle better than anyone else. Once Cynthia stepped in, she would likely be eaten alive and left with nothing.
“After being with you, I can’t help but want to give my dream another try. Maybe if I do it a few more times, my value will surpass
yours.” Cynthia was unphased.
“Do you think those people will look at you like I do?” Joshua’s tone became colder.
“It’s not impossible.” Cynthia nodded.
“It’s better to have a bit of self–awareness.” Joshua’s tone became even heavier, and the following words slipped out, “I only like
you because your face is somewhat similar to Jayleen’s.”
Cynthia froze.
Joshua suppressed his anger and continued, “If it weren’t for your looks, I wouldn’t have spared you another glance.”
“Say it again.”
Knowing it was one thing, but listening to it in person was another.
Cynthia never liked being another person’s substitute.
“I married you and cared for you just because you look like Jayleen...”
Bang!
“Mr. Neal!” Yoel exclaimed.
Cynthia did not hesitate to strike and punched Joshua in the face. She would not have held back if she had not been worried
about hitting him too hard and breaking his nose.

Cynthia spoke immediately after punching him, not giving him any chance to respond, “Do you think that after you said that, I
would feel inferior, sad, and think I only have what I have now because of Jayleen?”
Joshua held his face in pain, still in a daze.
