Chapter 2391
Felicity closed her eyes and leaned into his arms, "If your parents don't agree, you can come over. My mother will definitely agree."
Vermont didn't know whether to laugh or cry. He pinched her face and whispered, "Okay, then I will rely on Mrs. Snyder's protection in the future.”
"No problem."
Felicity laughed and fell asleep in a daze.
At the Imperial Garden, Keegan came out of the shower to find Stella still awake, leaning on the bed and looking at her phone.
Keegan wiped the water off his body, walked over, and sat beside the bed. He asked in a low voice, "Aren't you tired? Aren't you going to sleep?"
Stella put down her phone and pinched her brows, "I can't sleep; I'm a little excited."
"Then... listen to my prenatal education for a while?"
Stella was speechless.
"Not really."
Stella suddenly felt like she was back in high school, dominated by the fear of the college entrance exam, becoming more energetic.
Keegan lay down, "What do you think about Larry's matter?"
Stella sighed, "I don't know either. It's so confusing. How can someone with an unknown identity and origin suddenly appear? Initially, I just suspected he wasn't Larry, and now someone tells me he isn't, but no one knows who he is. I can't find a reason to call the police; his family doesn't suspect him."
Keegan didn't say anything.
Stella's words made sense. "Why call the police? You can't call and say he isn't Larry. His fingerprints are destroyed, and the police don't have his biological samples. They can only check his DNA against his relatives to determine his identity. The problem is, his family seems to love him or prefer the current Larry. If they don't cooperate, calling the police rashly will only alert the enemy."
Keegan said, "I've asked a friend to find a portrait artist. Let's see if we can restore his original appearance from Wren's description. With photos, we might get more clues."
"This is the only way," Stella was silent for a while and whispered, "I still can't believe he is so vicious. Someone who can draw and write so well must have been carefully nurtured. How could he take such a path?"
Keegan said lightly, "It's all personal choice. He dare not show his true face, so what he pursues must be more important than his life and reputation. It's not worth it." He paused and said, "Try not to contact him at the company if you can, and always bring Samuel with you."
"I know."
As he spoke, Keegan's phone rang.
Aldor sent a bunch of things. Keegan glanced at them, his expression becoming serious. His face tensed as he scrolled through the screen. The more he read, the uglier his expression became.
Stella noticed and asked in a low voice, "What's wrong? What happened?"
Keegan clenched his phone and looked up at her, his pupils trembling. After a long pause, he said, "Aldor found out why Willow went to see Kaia."
Stella was stunned, "What's the reason?"
Keegan's Adam's apple moved, and his voice was hoarse, "Kaia once examined her and collected evidence."
Stella was confused, "What kind of examination and evidence? Isn't Kaia a gynecologist? She-"
