Chapter 2380
Wren quickly retracted her gaze, clutching the medical examination form, and walked over to stand behind Stella. Her eyes involuntarily glanced at Stella's belly.
Stella had always worn loose clothes since joining the company, and her waistline was not visible at all. From the back, she appeared very slender, with nothing unusual. However, when she moved in certain ways, a slight bulge in her belly was noticeable. Wren had noticed it before when riding in Stella's car but had dismissed it as a bit of fat. Now, she realized it was a pregnancy.
This realization made Wren's heart pound. Why hadn't Stella informed the company about her pregnancy? Was it because of Darcie?
Wren's thoughts were in turmoil. Stella didn't seem to care about Wren's discovery. After fiddling with her mobile phone for a while, Stella answered a call, exchanged a few words, and hung up before leaving the queue.
Wren was stunned. "Miss Jewell, aren't you getting checked?"
Stella turned and said lightly, "No, I have something to do. I'll come back another day."
Then she left.
Stella had just exited when Kiara arrived.
"Where's Boss Jewell?" Kiara looked around.
Wren replied, "Boss Jewell received a call, said she had something to do, and left. She'll have her physical another day."
"Oh." Kiara responded, then asked, "Did you talk to her? She knew you were excluded and had your salary deducted because you accepted her clothes. She felt very sorry and wanted to help. But things turned out differently... She's a kind-hearted person. You should apologize to her; she'll understand."
Wren lowered her eyes. "Boss Jewell doesn't mind, and I don't have the face to say anything. Besides, I'm just a small employee. I don't want to get involved in the struggles between the leaders. I just want to collect my salary quietly. Don't mention this anymore. If Boss Jewell finds out, she'll think I'm on her side. I really need this job now."
"That's not what I meant..." Kiara sighed. "Okay, I won't say anything more. Is your grandma feeling better recently?"
Wren paused and whispered, “It's my grandma.”
"Oh, yes, your grandma. Look at my brain. I've been thinking about my grandma and calling yours that. Maybe I've been close to my grandma since I was a child, so I'm used to it."
Wren smiled and said nothing.
Kiara's explanation was natural but unnecessary.
Suddenly, Wren covered her stomach, her expression pained.
Kiara was startled and hurriedly pulled her. "Wren, what's wrong?"
Wren grimaced. "I think I have a stomachache. I need to go to the toilet."

Stella held her phone. "If I lose the bet, the worst that can happen is that Darcie will know I'm pregnant. Poan't hide my belly anymore. I was going to tell her anyway. It would be even better if I could get her to reveal her identity if she is the one behind all this." Visit Novelxo.org to read the latest chapter of this novel
Felicity was shocked. "You still have hope for Wren?"
