Chapter More 20
Chapter 20: My Weak and Helpless Hus.id
Debra said those things to push Sandra.
But Sandra didn’t want to argue with a group of immoral people.
“I’ll say it again. As long as the culprit confesses to Mr. Victor Cooper,
he will recover from his illness. If you don’t believe it, I can’t do anything about it.”
Angela clenched her teeth in anger, “You’re just fear–mongering!”
“If you don’t believe it, why don’t you try it?” Sandra remained calm.
Angela scoffed, “I’m not the culprit. Why should I go?”
Sandra smirked, “Are you afraid?”
“No!” Angela roared.
Sandra grinned, “Then go ahead.”
Angela hesitated.
If she didn’t do it, it would only make her look guilty.
Angela looked at Debra for help.
Debra was frustrated.
Sandra was clearly setting a trap for Angela!
“Sandra, stop it. It’s useless for Angela to do it. It’s just a waste of
time…”
“She hasn’t even tried yet. How do you know it’s a waste of time?” Sandra sarcastically interrupted, “Seems like you’re feeling guilty.”
Angela had never experienced such humiliation.
She was infuriated, “I am not guilty. I’ll go and prove it to you!”

With that, she turned around and walked towards Victor.
As she walked, she made a decision
When it was over, she would teach Sandra a good lesson!
She stood before Victor’s sickbed and uttered insincere words.
“Dad, I’m here to see you. Please don’t make us worry anymore. Wake
up soon.”
Victor had his eyes shut tight, his face pale.
But as soon as she finished speaking, he opened his eyes and began coughing violently.
In that instant, Angela was stunned.
Could it really be this effective?
Sandra sneered and looked at Debra.
“Mrs. Debra Cooper, it seems like you don’t need to find the culprit.
anymore. The culprit is right in front of you.”
Debra’s face turned livid.
Angela froze in place, feeling embarrassed.
Wesley sneered, “I will tell the police it’s a murder.”
Angela panicked.
With a pleading expression, she said, “Wesley, it wasn’t me.”
Wesley remained expressionless, “That’s what you should tell the police. Don’t waste your breath on me.”
Angela fell silent.
Debra knew it would be detrimental to both her and Angela.
“Wesley, since you’re all right now, why don’t you go back to the
Cooper Group? The design department has a competition. They need you.”
She tried to exchange power for Angela.
Sandra sneered inwardly, feeling that the whole Cooper family was
sordid and selfish.
She decided to take this opportunity
“Mrs. Debra Cooper, have you forgotten about me?”
She was Wesley’s wife and naturally should be part of the company.
She didn’t care about the money.
But she enjoyed seeing Debra frustrated.
Debra almost bit through her own lip.
Sandra was clearly taking advantage of the situation!
Unfortunately, for Angela’s sake, she had to give in.
“I don’t know what you prefer. How about you start at the bottom of the technical department?”
Sandra retorted, “Start at the bottom?”
Debra gritted her teeth.
“The deputy director of the technical department just resigned, and I haven’t found a suitable replacement yet. How about you take up the position?”
She didn’t think Sandra, a village girl, understood these high–tech things.
As the deputy director, she would definitely make mistakes, and then she would be dethroned.
The deputy director of the technical department…
Sandra turned to Wesley.
“Mr. Cooper, do you think this position s

ne?”
But since she asked, she was interested in the position.
“Yeah.”
He nodded, “It’ll do.”
Debra was speechless.
She was so pissed off!
This couple was so greedy!
It was the deputy director of the technical department!
How could they act as if they were at a disadvantage?
She almost had a heart attack from anger.
Seeing that her plan was almost complete, Sandra held the
wheelchair and prepared to leave.
After all, she had reviewed the accident with Wesley, and there was.
insufficient evidence.
It was difficult to send Angela to prison.
So, she had to find another way to vent her anger.
As the two reached the center of the yard, they were suddenly blocked
by four mastiffs at the gate.
Angela and Debra stood at the door looking at them.
“Mom, did you bring them here?”

Debra shook her head, “Looks like someone else wants them dead.”
Excitement flickered in Angela’s eyes.
“These mastiffs belong to your uncle and aunt, but they’re usually timid. They must have been manipulated.”
Debra forced a smile, speaking louder.
“Mastiffs are loyal to their owners, and they know who the real head of this family is.”
Sandra knew what she meant.
She had offended them, crossing the line with the mastiffs.
As their owner was being bullied, they would naturally attack.
Sandra had no interest in arguing with them.
The four mastiffs before her looked as fierce as lions!
One of the mastiffs took two steps forward, emitting a low growl.
Its sharp teeth were exposed, intimidatingly frightening.
Sandra casually cracked her fingers and asked, “Mr. Cooper, you or
me?”
Wesley sat in the wheelchair weakly as if the mastiff could crush him. with a single swipe of its hand.
So, how could he confront the mastiffs?
Thus, before he could respond, Sandra walked towards the mastiffs. directly.
Wesley was speechless. Was she teasing him?
His face darkened!
As Sandra approached, the four mastiffs growled again, threatening
her.
Sandra gave a faint smile, not afraid a
Angela clenched her fists, swallowing nervously.
“Mom, is she going to be torn apart?”
Debra patted her shoulder, “It’ll be bloody. Don’t look.”
“No, I want to see. She’s so arrogant She deserves it.”
Angela appeared innocent, but her eyes were filled with malice. In her heart, she prayed that the mastiffs would tear Sandra into pieces!
She wanted to see her shattered!
“Mom, the mastiffs are about to attack!”
She usually feared mastiffs, but now she sounded not scared at all
and rather excited.
Debra also tensed up, hoping the mastiffs would go crazy soon.
