Chapter 17: With Her, Everything Turned Out Well

Angela walked out of Briani Jewelry Store irritably.

She was the daughter of the Cooper family, Wesley’s half–sister.

Who did Sandra think she was?

At most, she was just a pretty village girl.

How could Wesley let her be bullied by a mere village girl? How could

she swallow this?

Coincidentally, her best friend Taylor Reed, the daughter of the Reed family, happened to be shopping as well and naturally walked over when she saw Angela.

Seeing that she was unhappy, Taylor asked about the reason.

After finding out what happened, Taylor frowned, “It seems like

Wesley wants to make an example out of you.”

Angela suddenly realized, “So, he intentionally wanted my mother to pay to make her suffer?”

Taylor nodded and said with a serious tone, “I think you should be prepared in advance.”

After all, it was over a billion dollars.

A glimmer of coldness flashed in Angela’s eyes.

Because of the incident at Briani Jewelry Store, Sandra had no mood

to continue shopping.

So she roamed around casually and decided to go back.

“Leo took a day off.“.

Only after leaving the mall did Wesley finally speak.

Sandra sneered, “So, I’m supposed to be your driver now?”

Wesley calmly replied, “You can also choose to take a bus or subway.”

Sandra was speechless.

That could work too.

But she was hungry now, so it was better to go back sooner.

She reluctantly helped him into the car, folded the wheelchair, and put it in the trunk before setting off.

The road from the hospital to the mall was congested. After passing this section, they would reach the overpass ahead.

Naturally, Sandra stepped on the accelerator to speed up.

At that moment, she noticed something was wrong with the car.

Wesley, who used to be a racing enthusiast before falling ill, was sensitive to cars despite not driving for a long time.

Before she could say anything, he frowned, “There’s something wrong

with the car.”

Sandra looked ahead, placing both hands on the steering wheel.

“It’s just a simple brake pad problem.”

She could sense that all four tires were damaged to varying degrees, making it difficult to control the direction of the car.

Wesley’s frown deepened.

“There’s also a problem with the fuel tank.”

“Bang!”

The car hit the stone railing.

The passenger door was dented, and Wesley groaned, indicating that he was injured.

Sandra immediately looked at the passenger seat.

Her voice trembled slightly.

“Wesley!”

Wesley remained calm, his expression showing no signs of panic.

His face, already sickly handsome, now seemed to carry a dangerous

connotation.

“I’m fine. Just focus on driving.”

His voice remained steady as if this were not a life–or–death situation but just a ride in an amusement park.

There weren’t many cars on the overpass, but they still needed to be cautious to avoid causing an accident.

Sandra licked her slightly dry lips, her eyes gleaming with excitement.

It had been a long time since she had this much fun!

“Since you’re fine, then buckle up!”

She suddenly accelerated the car.

The wheels scraped against the railing, emitting sparks of fire.

Up ahead was the main road of the city.

If they couldn’t fix the problem, they would risk not only damaging the car and endangering their lives but also causing a chain collision!

Other drivers couldn’t help but feel scared of their speed.

They had never seen a car go that fast before.

All the cars on the overpass voluntarily stopped.

On the road below the overpass, many drivers also noticed the car and quickly pulled over.

Sandra aimed for a nearby stone pillar and abruptly slowed down the

car.

“Bang!”

Another loud noise.

The car collided with the stone pillar, causing it to topple over, and the

car came to a stop.

The airbags in the car deployed instantly.

Blood flowed from Wesley’s forehead as he leaned against the airbag,

unconscious.

Sandra released her seatbelt first.

She heard the sound of an ambulance approaching.

She breathed a sigh of relief and forcefully opened the car door,

The strong impact earlier had left her body sore.

She took a deep breath, got out of the car, waved at the ambulance, and then walked to the passenger seat.

The medical staff came to help open the car door and put Wesley on

a stretcher.

“I will save him!”

The medical staff frowned, “You need to get checked first. Don’t act

rashly.”

“I am a doctor.” Sandra did feel a little pain in her body, but it didn’t

matter.

However, the medical staff didn’t give her a chance to explain and

instead brought Wesley into the ambulance.

Not wanting to delay, Sandra followed them into the ambulance, ignoring the objections of others.

“Wait!”

When the nurse was putting an oxygen mask on Wesley, Sandra suddenly spoke up to stop her.

The nurse was about to reprimand her for not following medical

advice.

But before the nurse could react, Sandra inserted some silver needles. into Wesley’s chest.

The nurse was shocked, “What are you doing? You.

“Look at the medical equipment!”

Sandra took a deep breath, her gaze fixed on the silver needles in Wesley’s chest

Both the doctor and nurse turned to look at the medical device beside

them.

Wesley had a normal heartbeat and blood pressure now.

The doctor and nurse exchanged glances and then looked at Wesley’s

chest.

The silver needles had all turned black.

At the Cooper Mansion.

Victor’s condition improved.

Today, he could already get out of bed and walk.

Debra supported him, saying something interesting, and they smiled

at each other.

Hailey watched them from afar with a delighted expression.

Suddenly, Zachary ran over and whispered a few words to Debra.

Although his voice was not loud, Victor still heard him.

“What did you say? What happened to Wesley?”

Zachary hesitated, unsure whether to tell the truth or not.

Hailey heard the sound and quickly walked over.

“Zachary, tell me, what happened to Wesley?”

Even though Wesley had embarrassed everyone in the Cooper family, he was still Hailey’s grandson. Blood ties and family bonds made her overlook those small matters.

Zachary could only sigh and tell the truth.

He patted his forehead, feeling helpless, “Mr. Cooper and Mrs. Cooper had a car accident on their way back and have been taken to the hospital.”

After a pause, he choked up.

“Mr. Cooper might be…”

“Madam Cooper!”

Before Zachary could finish his sentence, Hailey collapsed to the ground.

“Mr. Victor Cooper!”

Victor felt a pang in his heart and started vomiting black blood.

Debra quickly called for the maid and then called Elizabeth.

Finally, she instructed the people around her.

“Go to the hospital and find out if Wesley is alive or dead!”

“I’m sorry about today.”

He sighed.

“We offered a discount as a way to compensate Mrs. Cooper.

“Since neither Mr. nor Mrs. Cooper are here, I won’t disturb you any longer.”

Once these items were taken away, they wouldn’t be available at a discount anymore.

As the butler, Zachary naturally had to pr Cooper family.

Without much thought, he stopped David.

t the interests of the

“Please wait a little longer.

David frowned, “Zachary, what do you mean?”

Zachary forced a smile, “Let me go ask again.”

David glanced at his watch, “I’ll give you half an hour at most.”

At the hospital, the nurses cooperated with Sandra and took Wesley to the emergency room.

There were many devices in the hospital.

Now, Wesley was being supported with the silver needles, and they could use these devices to wake him up.

The doctor was preparing for the emergency treatment.

But Sandra had her own way of saving Wesley.

So, she directly started using the devices.

The doctor immediately tried to stop her, holding her shoulder. ”

Ignoring the doctor, device.

The doctor became furious.

“Knowing how to use silver needles doesn’t mean you can perform surgery. Step aside!”

“No need for surgery!”

Sandra said indifferently.

The doctor yelled, “If something goes wrong…”

“If something goes wrong, I will take responsibility.” Sandra quickly grabbed the device.

She didn’t even need any assistance. Her hands were so fast that they became blurry.

The nurses and doctor exchanged glances, finding it unbelievable.

They had seen doctors who were skilled at emergency treatment in the hospital before.

But “skilled” couldn’t describe Sandra.

It was like…

They knew medical treatment, but Sandra knew magic.

“Cough, cough!”

Wesley suddenly coughed, sat up abruptly, and coughed up some black blood.

Then, slowly, he opened his eyes.

“He’s awake!”

The doctor exclaimed in surprise.

Sandra let out a sigh of relief.

She wiped the sweat from her forehead.

“You won’t be so lucky next time,” she reminded.

Wesley wiped the corner of his lips. “You’re blaming me for your bad driving skills?

Sandra was speechless.

It was the car’s fault!

If it wasn’t for her quick reaction and making the right choices, Wesley would have been dead!

He didn’t show any gratitude but instead retorted.

She really wanted to slap him across the face.

The doctor approached, “Miss, may have your contact information?”

The hospital was currently recruiting new talent.

Sandra should utilize her talents in the hospital.

Sandra smiled faintly and pointed to Wesley.

“I’m Mr. Cooper’s wife. If you want my contact information, you need his permission.”

The doctor was stunned.

So, she was the real daughter of the Hill family?

The village girl?

That was impossible!

How could a village girl have such amazing medical skills?

If she didn’t want to provide contactin, Wu was no need to lie.

Sandra looked at Wesley, “Mr. Cooper, what do you say?”

Wesley pursed his lips and remained silent.

The doctor still thought they were lying.

It was only when Leo and a dozen black–clad bodyguards rushed over that the doctor and nurses believed th

“Mr. Cooper, what should we do now

Leo looked at the emergency room and frowned.

The doctor quickly said, “Prepare a room for Mr. Cooper.”

“No need.”

Wesley waved his hand and got off the emergency bed. “We’re going home.”

A hint of coldness flashed in Sandra’s eyes.

Those people almost got them killed. They had to pay a price.

The car stopped at the entrance of the Cooper Mansion.

David happened to come out of the Cooper Mansion.

Zachary smiled apologetically with a hint of flattery in his voice.

“I’m so sorry. We’ll contact you as soon as we find Mr. Cooper.”

David waved his hand.

“You don’t have to. As I said, there wasn’t going to be a second chance.”

“Zachary, I’m not targeting you. We both nave orders to TUTTO, shouldn’t make things difficult for each other, right?”

Zachary’s face darkened.

Indeed, they were in the wrong in this matter.

Moreover, Wesley’s life was at stake now, so why would they still care about those items?

“Suit yourself!”

Annoyed, he turned around.

But not far away, a car honked its horn.

Zachary blinked and realized that the car belonged to Wesley!

“Mr. Cooper?”

Zachary rubbed his eyes in disbelief.

It wasn’t an illusion!

The car door opened.

The first to come out was Sandra, who made everyone at the Cooper

Mansion somewhat wary.

Then, Leo opened the car door and supported Wesley as he got out of

the car.

Zachary’s eyes widened in shock.

“Mr. Cooper, you… you are back?”

Sandra sneered at him, “Zachary, why do I feel like we are reluctantly welcomed?”

Zachary quickly regained his composure. “No, no, how could that be?

Sandra looked at the stunned David.

“Have the items been delivered? Have you been paid?”

David deeply regretted it.

He should have left immediately instead of arguing with Zachary!
