After arriving at Glorywood Pack together with Xavier, Rick went to meet my parents. 

He firstly begged and apologized to them for his mistake before asking about my grave‘ s location with tears. 

My mother obviously closed her mouth tightly, because she was hurt by the thing Rick did to me. But my dad knew how hurt it was to lose a mate, so he told Rick in the end after giving him some scolding. 

The forest was quiet as Rick approached my grave. With trembling hands, he reached into his pocket and retrieved the matching ring that once bound them together in love. 

Placing the ring delicately on my tombstone, tears streamed down his face as he poured out his heart, his words a mixture of sorrow, regret and undying love. 

As he collapsed to his knees, overwhelmed by grief and guilt, Rick poured out his heart, confessing his deepest regrets and vowing to honor my memory for the rest of his days. 

So, for hours, he sat beside my grave silently until the rain poured over him and the land around him. Until Xavier came to pick him up and advised that I should want him to live on, to find peace and forgiveness in the midst of his pain.
