Chapter 63
Chapter 63
Lianne smiled at Nancy. "Good evening, Ms. Atlas!"
Nancy held Lianne enthusiastically. "We're going to play a murder mystery game. Zane, Lianne, would you like to join us?"
"You can go ahead. I won't join in on the fun." Lianne just wanted to find a quiet place to rest and think about how she should deal with Suzanne. Zane simply refused. "I'm not Interested."
"Okay, then. Let's go, Cece!" Nancy dragged Cece away. Cece was stiff from fright as Nancy asked, "Cece, why are your hands so cold?"
Cece was speechless.
That was because she had almost lost her hand.
Lianne and Zane were left in the relatively quiet corner.
"Thank you, Mr. Atlas!"
Zane told Lianne she did not have to be afraid of anyone, including the Graham family. Today, he proved that she could believe every word he said.
"Why don't you want to play with them?" Zane's deep and sexy voice rang in Lianne's ears. His tall body was already sitting next to her.
Zane was very close to her, about two fists apart. So, she could smell the faint woody fragrance on his body. Lianne's body tensed slightly, and she subconsciously moved to the side. Zane noticed her small movements. He thought about how she was still forced to put on a smile after being threatened and felt a little upset. "Is there anything you want to tell me?" Lianne had something to tell him but dared not.
She still remembered how Slater threatened her on the way back. "Ms. Simpson, before you tell Mr. Atlas that Madam looked for you, think about your grandma, who is far away in Jethartic. You might be protected, but your grandma isn't."
Lianne shook her head and put on the high heels she had taken off earlier. "Mr. Atlas, I'll go if the guests are enjoying themselves."
Lianne got up to leave, but Zane stopped her by saying, "I'm sorry."
She turned her head abruptly, and their eyes met.

He snubbed the cigarette butt and said in a deep voice, "I'm sorry about what happened today. I've already dealt with it, and she won't dare to trouble you again. You can work with peace of
mind."
Lianne did not know what to make of the fear hidden in her heart. However, it dissipated at Zane's
words.
Her nose was sore, and her eyes were swollen. She almost shed tears, but she quickly blinked
them back.
Her eyes and the tip of her nose were red, but she stubbornly refused to cry in front of Zane.
Zane thought to himself, if he were her husband, he would definitely hold her tightly in his arms and tell her that she had nothing to be afraid of with him by her side. However, he was just her boss and would never have the right to hug her.
"Thank you!" Lianne quickly concealed her emotions with gratitude.
Hearing her lighter tone, Zane was also in a much better mood. He subconsciously stretched out his hand again, wanting to rub the bun on the top of her head.
Once again, just as he was about to touch it, he forcibly stopped his disrespectful behavior.
Zane raised his head and looked forward. "If you don't want to stay, you can ask the driver to take. you back."
"I suddenly feel like playing the
game." The fear and uneasiness that
she suppressed in her heart
disappeared. Lianne suddenly
brightened up. "Mr. Atlas, have you
ever played a murder mystery.
game?"
"I haven't, but I don't mind playing." Zane seemed to have forgotten that he was not interested in the game just now.
Together, they found the large team
of people who were playing the murder mystery. All of them were the closest people around Zane the Graham siblings, Nancy, Morgan, and a few others that Lianne could not name.
Hearing they were going to join the game, everyone except for the Graham siblings was delighted.
Morgan was especially happy. "Nancy said you wouldn't join, thought you really wouldn't come. I was disappointed for a while."
Nancy said, "You seemed to have the most fun just now!"
Morgan was speechless.
The murder mystery game was proposed by the organizing staff. Since Lianne knew that this sort of game was popular at parties, she agreed.
