Married My Ex-husband’s Uncle Chapter 5

Chapter 5 Slept With The Wrong Person

“Is this Kayden?” Kaylee glanced and confirmed, “Yes, it’s him. He moved in three days ago.” Sienna was somewhat puzzled, but she didn’t say anything more and instructed Kaylee to let Kayden in. Since she had some free time that day, she decided to take the opportunity to get to know Kayden. After all, they would be seeing each other often in the future. Kayden entered. He had just washed his hands and was drying them with a white towel as he hurriedly stepped in. “Ms. Ainsworth, you’ve arrived.” Looking at Kayden, Sienna recognized him as the same person she had seen that day at Fantasia Club. His complexion was fair, and he exuded a gentle, refined charm. However, she couldn’t shake the feeling that something seemed off. “Come, have a seat. Let’s chat,” Sienna said with a smile. She was in quite a good mood. “Yes, Ms. Ainsworth.” Kayden took a seat across from Sienna, his slender, clean hands casually resting on his lap. His clear gaze was fixed on her, his expression natural and devoid of any awkwardness. Unlike others, he did not flatter or try to win her favor upon seeing her. It was precisely because of his pleasing demeanor that Sienna took an immediate liking to him among all the young men. As the conversation was about to begin, Sienna suddenly realized something: “Are there no servants here? There isn’t even any coffee.” Just as Kaylee was about to speak, Kayden interjected, “I’ve dismissed the servant, thinking that you might not appreciate outsiders around. I apologize for making the decision on my own, Ms. Ainsworth.” As he spoke, he stood up. “Let me make you some coffee.” Aside from being exceptionally strict when it came to work, Sienna was usually quite laid-back. This mansion was intended for Kayden to reside in, so he was left to arrange and manage it as he saw fit. Soon, Kayden brewed a pot of coffee and brought it over. It was Black Ivory Coffee, her favorite. Sienna was very pleased. It seemed that Kayden had not been idle these past three days. Instead, he had already thoroughly understood her preferences. He was sensible, intelligent, pleasing to the eye, and efficient in his work. Sienna took a sip of tea, her tone nonchalant and relaxed. “Have you quit smoking?” Kayden obediently replied, “I don’t smoke, Ms. Ainsworth.” Sienna was taken aback, the previous doubts that lingered in her mind resurfacing. “You never smoked before?” Noticing the change in her expression, Kayden grew anxious as well. “No, I’ve never smoked before. My father was diagnosed with lung cancer and needed treatment. That’s why I’m here… So, I don’t smoke.” Sienna turned to look at Kaylee. Kaylee was puzzled by Sienna’s gaze. “Ms. Ainsworth, what Kayden said is true. His father was indeed hospitalized with lung cancer, and his mother passed away due to illness two years ago. He used to work at an investment company, but he resigned because he needed a large sum of money and went to work at Fantasia Club.” Sienna waved her hand. That’s not right. Kayden isn’t the person from that night. She looked at Kayden and said, “Take off your shirt.” After a moment of stunned silence, Kayden began unbuttoning his shirt. He didn’t understand what the attractive woman before him wanted, but he was well aware of his own identity and knew he had no choice but to comply. Once the shirt was removed, the man’s frail and thin figure was revealed. Sienna stepped forward and poked his chest with her finger. Kayden’s face turned bright red in embarrassment when Sienna started touching him in broad daylight. He was inexperienced, and despite mentally preparing himself thoroughly, he was still very nervous at that moment. In response, he awkwardly turned his head away. Sienna maintained her usual composure on the surface, but the doubts in her heart intensified. She gave Kayden’s arm another squeeze. It was soft and flabby, lacking any muscle, let alone texture. Sienna became increasingly certain that Kayden was not the man from that night. She had slept with the wrong person. Then, she took another careful look at Kayden’s face. That morning, the room was dim with the curtains drawn. The man’s prominent nose and thick eyebrows were a stark contrast to Kayden’s delicate, elegant features. They gave off entirely different vibes. “You are not him,” Sienna confidently asserted. Both Kaylee and Kayden were taken aback.
