Chapter 2064
After hiding the prescription, Tania stood and walked out as if nothing had happened.
The butler looked toward Liam. Liam asked him, “Is Sonny here too?”
“I didn’t see Mr. Sonny.”
Liam made a disappointed sound. Then, he took a newspaper and opened it up to read it. He said, “If Sonny isn’t here, I don’t
have to welcome my son outside since I’m the father.”
The butler could not resist laughing.
Sonny was a favorite among the older ones here.
It was mainly because there were no children in Wildridge Manor. Whenever Sonny followed his aunt to the manor, he would
become popular. Everyone would be fighting to take care of him.
Additionally, the child was sensible and a smooth-talker.
Naturally, people like Liam, who were waiting to have grandchildren and entering their senior years, adored Sonny.
As soon as Tania walked out of the house, she saw her son and daughter-in-law walking over hand in hand. Her son was holding
a few bags in his other hand. She knew the bags had gifts Serenity had bought for her and her husband.
Serenity never visited her in-laws empty-handed.
She knew her in-laws had everything but buying something for her in-laws as their daughter-in-law had a profound significance.
“Mom.”
“Mom.”
Serenity and Zachary greeted Tania when they spotted her.
Tania replied with a smile. She looked beyond them, but all she could see were only Callum and Camryn.
Although Camryn had been to Wildridge Manor several times, the manor was huge. She had to walk very slowly as she was
unfamiliar with the place. She needed Callum to guide her slowly while holding her hand.
To help her get familiarized with the place, Callum had to tell her where they were and the things surrounding them for her to
remember everything.
Camryn also had to memorize the number of steps she took. That way, she would not need someone else guiding her when she
walked the same path.
“Where’s Sonny, Seren? Isn’t it Friday today? He doesn’t have to go to school tomorrow. Why didn’t you bring him over? I
haven’t seen him in a long time. I miss him a lot.”
Tania could not resist asking her daughter-in-law when she did not see Sonny.
Serenity replied, “Sonny’s dad woke up and was transferred to a normal ward from the ICU. I didn’t bring him over because my
sister said she’ll bring Sonny to the hospital to visit his dad tomorrow.”
Tania was clearly disappointed that she could not see Sonny.
She acknowledged it with a hum. “Well, I suppose he should visit his dad in the hospital. Will he be in the hospital for the entire
day? If not, shall we send someone to fetch him here after he visits his dad?”
Zachary and Serenity exchanged glances.
Serenity said with a smile, “I’m not very sure. We can make arrangements after I ask my sister about this tomorrow.”
She stepped forward and hooked her mother-in-law’s arm intimately. “Mom, are we unwelcome if I don’t bring Sonny back with
us?”
“Of course not. This house just seems too quiet without the sounds of children playing and laughing. Sonny is sensible and
clever. He’s also a smooth talker as if his mouth is coated with honey. I like him a lot.”
Tania indirectly reminded them to have children when she mentioned the house was too quiet without children’s voices.
