Married at First Sight

The assistant wrapped up the roses and handed the bouquet to Serenity.
Serenity made the payment, took the bouquet, thanked her, and said, “You should get back to work. I’ll send these to my
husband first. I made him angry, so I have to coax him.”
The assistant laughed and said, “Go quickly, Mrs. York.”
All the men in the York family had to be coaxed.
Camryn had to coax Callum too.
They often heard Camryn secretly complaining about how a grown man like him acted like a narrow-minded little woman
sometimes.
After leaving Spring Blossoms, Serenity headed to York Corporation.
She saw Camryn soon after arriving.
There was a car parked beside Camryn, and a man wearing sunglasses and a black mask stood beside her, seemingly talking to
her.
Soon, Camryn smiled and let the man help her toward the car, apparently to help her get in the car.
The next second, Camryn threw the man’s hand off and turned to run.
The man struck the back of her neck, knocking her unconscious.
Seeing this scene, Serenity quickly floored the pedal and shot in front of the car. Then, she slammed on the brakes, causing the
tires to squeal from the friction on the ground.
The person in the car and the man who tried to lead Camryn into the car instinctively looked up.
Serenity parked the car, got out, and ran over to kick the man wearing the black mask.
The man was kicked by Serenity and fell to the side.
Serenity quickly dragged Camryn down from the car.

The man inside the car also wore a black mask and sunglasses. He quickly started the car and tried to escape.
Fortunately, Serenity’s car was blocking in front of his vehicle, so he could not go straight. That short delay gave Serenity the
chance to drag Camryn out of the car.
The man who was kicked aside by Serenity got up and ran over to punch her, but she kicked him to the ground again.
When the man recognized who Serenity was, he got up and ran away.
Everyone knew that Mrs. York knew kickboxing. Carrie fell into Serenity’s hands because she underestimated her enemy and did
not know that Serenity could fight.
Serenity had to take care of the unconscious Camryn and could not go after the two men. The man in the car drove off, and the
other man also got into another car and quickly escaped.
Serenity hurriedly took out her phone and called Callum.
Callum answered swiftly.
“Serenity,” he greeted respectfully.
“Callum, come out. I’m just near the company. Camryn was attacked.”
“What? I’m on my way!”
Hearing that his fiancée was attacked near the company, Callum quickly got up, went around the desk, and ran out.
Camryn just delivered him a bouquet of flowers. He wanted to send her back, but she refused and said she could go back by
herself.
With Callum’s deliberate efforts, Camryn was indeed able to come and go freely by herself to and fro Spring Blossoms and York
Corporation.
All she had to do was count her steps, walk to the bus stop outside, and wait for the bus to arrive.
She just had to ask other people who were waiting what bus it was that arrived.

Callum thought his fiancée could find her way easily and did not worry about her going back to the store by herself.
Unexpectedly, she was attacked near the company.
