Married at First Sight

Chapter 2033

The scandal had circulated throughout Jensburg.
All the women who had a crush on Hayden were furious at Kevin. They joined forces to go against him, but their families warned
them not to offend him.
Kevin was a wolf in sheep’s clothing. He was a cruel man disguised with a smile.
Even if the women joined forces, they would not stand a chance against him.
In a luxurious private room was a huge round table that could seat more than ten people. However, only Kevin and Hayden were
seated at the table.
There were no rare delicacies but only six dishes and a soup served on the table.
There were also two bottles of premium wine.
The Queen family’s bodyguards were eating in the room next door. Of course, it was Kevin’s treat.
Those were the people who were protecting his fiancée. He would not mistreat them.
“Try the food, Hayden. I cooked them for you.”
Kevin scooped some soup for Hayden. As if asking for a compliment, he said, “I haven’t cooked for someone in a very long
time.”
The corners of Hayden’s mouth twitched. She said, “What an honor.”
She had the chance to taste Kevin’s cooking.
“Indeed. Even my parents rarely have the opportunity to enjoy my cooking. I’ll only cook when Nana is craving my food. We, the
nine brothers in the family, know how to cook because our nana forced us to learn.
“Zachary’s cooking skills are superb too. He was often in charge of cooking when he hid his identity and deceived my sister-in-
law back then.”
Hayden looked toward Kevin.

“You don’t have to look at me. I’m still as handsome as ever. You don’t have to care about how others regard us as well. You and
I are well aware of our situation.”
What he meant was that he knew she was a woman.
She knew she was not a true man either.
They knew everything.
“Here. Try the soup I made and see if it’s delicious and to your liking.”
Kevin placed the bowl of soup in front of Hayden.
After a moment of silence, she took the spoon and tasted a spoonful of the soup.
“How is it?” Kevin asked with much anticipation.
Hayden did not say a word, but she proceeded to take a second and a third spoonful of soup. It was obvious that she liked the
taste of it.
A smile appeared in Kevin’s eyes.
He was confident that he could win her over with his cooking.
On the day he went fishing with Donald, he made grilled fish for him that night. Donald had also called Hayden and Hugh to have
a barbecue together and all four members of the Queen family filled their stomachs to the brim.
Donald and his wife complimented Kevin’s grilled fish repeatedly.
Hugh told Kevin to inform him if he ever went fishing with his dad again. Hugh wanted to go too. The more fish he caught, the
more grilled fish he could eat.
Although Hayden did not say anything, Kevin could confirm that she liked the food from the considerable amount she ate.
In fact, Donald had just sent Kevin a message and invited him to go fishing again in the evening.
