LUNA: The Invisible Princess

Chapter 30: Finding The Heavenly Stone

[Third Person POV]

When the light subsided, they saw how Aloquita grew even bigger. The four of them flew away when Aloquita attacked them. To their surprise, the severed tentacle regenerated.

They were immediately alerted when Aloquita’s tentacles suddenly rushed at them and they became sharp like steel and they could not avoid the attack on time, causing them to get wounded. They could not get close to Aloquita carelessly because her tentacles moved swiftly. Since only Joaquin can take the stone from Aloquita's neck, he thinks of a way to take it without Aloquita's knowledge. They still continue to dodge the monster's attacks.

Using Isagani's trident, a light power came out of it that dazzled Aloquita, causing her to cover her eyes while groaning. Joaquin took that opportunity to swim quickly towards Aloquita. When Aira and Bryle see Joaquin aiming at the stone, they also try to distract Aloquita. Aira made an electricity ball and magnified it.

When Joaquin was close to Aloquita's neck, she felt his presence, so he was sent flying from a distance when a tentacle hit him. Joaquin grunted in pain.

“Joaquin!”

“I’m fine!”

Suddenly, Aira released the electricity ball, causing Aloquita to scream in pain while being electrocuted. But Aloquita quickly recovered and glared at them dangerously, like she wanted to eat them alive. Aloquita struck them with her sixteen tentacles all at once without stopping.

They quickly moved swiftly and avoided the raging tentacles, although they barely avoided all the attacks. However, some tentacles grazed their skin.

While dodging the tentacles, Isagani was able to get close to Aloquita's neck. Aira saw him so she secretly used the air stone to make Isagani invisible. She was glad it worked. Isagani's eyes widened when he felt the energy of the stone. He was stunned looking at the glowing stone, and it seemed to be calling out to him. But he didn’t notice that he had become invisible. He slowly approached the glowing stone and stared at it intently. He reached for it and he gasped as the glowing blue stone suddenly floated in his palm and a magic circle appeared in his palm. It suddenly glowed dazzlingly, and he was confused when the stone suddenly entered his palm. He winced at the sudden pain.

"Aaahhh!" Aloquita roared as she felt the stone disappear from her neck. Aloquita went ballistic and suddenly, a strong current formed into a whirlwind.

"Waahhh," the four of them shouted as the raging whirlwind almost swept them away. Fortunately, Isagani quickly reacted and used his power. The seaweeds grew long and sturdy and clung to their feet tightly to prevent them from being swept away from the strong current.

Isagani used his trident and a strong light power came out of it toward Aloquita, causing the monster to fly away and the whirlwind lost its control. They sighed in relief.

But Aloquita seething with rage and released an ample amount of dark ink that immediately scattered through the water. Their eyes widened because it was a poisonous ink. Isagani and Joaquin reacted quickly and put bubbles on each other for protection.

"Sh*t!" Isagani remembers the warriors fighting the small octopuses at a distance.

Joaquin and the others also gasped when he also remembered the warriors.

"Isagani! Use the stone!" Aira shouted and only then did Joaquin and Bryle remember that Isagani has the water stone.

"But I don't know how to use it!" Isagani yelled back.

“Concentrate and wish at the stone!” The three shouted and even though Isagani was skeptical, he just did what the three magic users said.

He immediately opened his palm and tried to summon the stone. To his surprise, he felt the energy from his palm and he was amazed when it appeared and glowed. He immediately closed his eyes and wished to cleanse Aloquita’s poisonous ink. As he fluttered his eyes, the stone glowed brightly and dazzled them. When the light subsided, Isagani saw that the poisonous ink in the water was gone and even the small octopuses vanished.

Suddenly, Joaquin, Bryle, and Aira summoned the stone they each held. They approach Isagani and follow Bryle's plan to unite the stones of life to defeat Aloquita.

The stones glowed, and they simultaneously attacked Aloquita. Aloquita was about to run away when she felt the danger, but it was too late because the attack was coming directly at her. Aloquita felt scared, but she could only scream in pain while being struck by the powerful attack. The power of the stones of life is indeed powerful and dangerous as well.

Suddenly, the ocean became quiet, and then the light vanished. However, no sign of Aloquita around. Upon taking a closer look, their eyes widened when they saw a small creature.

They looked at each other and soon burst out laughing. They laugh so hard as if there is no tomorrow.

As the light dissipated, Aloquita turned so small they could crush her with one hand. The powerless creature was frightened and quickly swam away. All the warriors saw what was happening and they couldn’t help but also laugh. Because the perilous Aloquita became a normal octopus with no power now. The warriors returned to the kingdom of Mermaiden because the battle was over.

"Thank you, Isagani, for your help." said the three to Prince Isagani.

Isagani just smiled and nodded. "That was a good fight!"

"Ah, Prince Isagani, can we take the water stone?" Bryle said, a little nervous.

Prince Isagani fell silent and took a while to respond. The three just stared at him, waiting for an answer.

"No," Isagani uttered. Their eyes widened.

"What?!" They reacted quickly.

"I'll give it to you, but on one condition..." they let out a sigh.

"What condition?" Bryle asked.

"I'm coming with you back to your kingdom. I want to see your princesses." Bryle and Joaquin smiled while Aira's eyes widened because she remembered what she said to Bryle and Joaquin when they also asked her about the stone.

Bryle and Joaquin looked at Aira with a mocking smile. The princess just smiled shyly and stuck her tongue out childishly. They all chuckled.

"All right, but say goodbye to your family first," said Joaquin, and Prince Isagani nodded.

They wasted no time, and they immediately returned to the kingdom of Mermaiden. When they arrived, everyone was having fun. The merman and mermaids congratulated them on their victory in defeating Aloquita. Isagani excused himself to talk to his King Father and his entire family. It took a few minutes before Isagani approached Joaquin and the others with a victorious smile.

"Father and mother allowed me, so let's go," said Isagani and they were ecstatic.

"What are we waiting for? Let's go!" Aira said excitedly. She couldn’t wait to breathe fresh air.

[Luna]

After the celebration, everyone made their way out of the hall to their room. Meanwhile, Leena and I couldn’t wait to approach Ingrith. We immediately ran closer to Ingrith and Ishmael when they were alone.

"Ingrith! Ishmael! Wait!" We call them when they are about to leave as well.

"Oh, Luna, Leena," Ingrith flashed us a smile.

"Ingrith, we have something important to ask," Leena uttered quickly.

"Say it."

"We won’t beat around the bush. Ingrith, is there a way we can get out of here and get back into our bodies?" Ingrith looked surprised by my direct question. Ishmael also looks surprised and I notice his demeanor change.

Ingrith smiled strangely. "Yes, there is..."

"Really? Please tell us!" Leena and I uttered at the same time.

Ingrith and Ishmael looked at each other knowingly. They look hesitant about whether to tell us what they know. Somehow, I felt wary of them. I don’t know, but I can tell that they were hiding something.

"Please. We need to go back to Moondrous because the situation there is not good..." I said.

Ishmael nodded to Ingrith and sighed.

"Only the stones of life can help you. The fire stone, earth stone, air stone, water stone, and the heavenly stone... You should collect them all. It is the only thing that can help you. But we don’t know where it is. We've been looking for it in this place for a long time, but until now we still can't find it." Ingrith explained, and I saw something flash in her eyes, but it vanished before I could comprehend the hidden emotion.

Our shoulders drooped down at the information. But we won’t lose hope because I know there’s a way.

"But the other stones are in the Moondrous World," said Ishmael, and our eyes widened.

"What? How can we get the stones if we're here?" Leena uttered, and we were both stunned.

"With the help of the people from Moondrous, you can get it. If they are now working on a way to find the other stones, you will have no problem except for the heavenly stone. Because only you can get it because the heavenly stone is here in the Eternal Place." Ingrith said meaningfully. I couldn’t explain it, but I was really skeptical of them now. I didn't notice it at first, but now I can tell that they were hiding something. Well, I will tear off their mask soon. Heh, I wonder what's behind that mask of them. Are they good or evil?

"How do we know what's going on in the other world?" Leena asked, brows furrowed together.

"There's a lake here in Eternal Place that can see what's going on in the other world," said Ishmael.

Leena and I widened our eyes while looking at each other. I remember the lake we had seen before. The only lake and a tree in the middle of the vast field full of flowers.

"We know where the lake is!" Leena and I both said. Ingrith and Ishmael's eyes widened. I saw their expressions change.

"Really? Where?" huh? They don't know where that is? Impossible! Because I remember what they say that they have been here for a long time, but how come they haven't seen the lake yet? This is alarming.

"It is the place where Luna and I woke up..." Leena said. Ingrith and Ismael nodded at each other.

There’s really something wrong with the two of them. I tried to read their minds, but they were blocked. What a surprise!

However, they couldn’t hide their malicious intent from me. I can sense it. For now, I will act with the flow.

"Then Ingrith and I will go with you," Ishmael said and looked at Ingrith meaningfully.

"O-okay," Leena uttered. I know she also senses something wrong with them.

"Then we should get going now," I said.

"Well, let’s go!" I nodded and immediately snapped my fingers and in an instant, we were standing in front of a gigantic tree and a lake surrounded by a sea of flowers.

I saw Ingrith and Ishmael's eyes widen as they gaped around us.

"H-how?" they gasped as they looked at our whereabouts.

I just smiled and walked towards the lake. Leena held my hand, and we both looked at the lake. We close our eyes and wish.

We opened our eyes and saw the lake showing a screen. The images shown in the lake took us aback. Leena and I looked at each other and smiled as we saw our parents and our bodies in an unconscious state. They are talking with a beautiful woman who looks like our mother. My eyes widened as I realized it was our Grandma Luna!

"It’s Grandmother!" said Leena in awe. I nodded and just smiled.

We saw four magic users enter the room. They examine us, I mean, our bodies. And my heart skipped a beat when I saw him.

It’s Bryle!

I gasped as the four magic users suddenly released different colored stones in their palms. And suddenly, it floated above our body as it spun around.

Leena and I looked at each other.

"The stones of life..." Ingrith uttered in surprise.

I watched the four stones of life floating on our unconscious bodies. I think only one stone is missing—the heavenly stone. Leena and I need to find it as soon as possible.

When we turned to Ingrith and Ishmael, their swords were already pointed at us. I frowned.

"Ingrith? Ismael? What's the meaning of this?" Leena gasped and couldn't believe her eyes.

I smirk. I know something's going on in their mind. But I know better and I am three steps ahead of them.

I just remained emotionless while looking at them. Well, I already expected this scenario. As I said, they can’t hide something from me.

"We won't let you live like that. You only just got here for a few days and then you'll be able to leave right away while it took us a few more years to find this place," said Ingrith while pointing her sword at me.

"Ingrith, there's still time to change your mind. Don't be in such a hurry because you know nothing of who we are." I said meaningfully and smirked.

Yes, they don’t know who we really are. Leena and I kept it a secret.

I looked at their pasts and now I understand why they say we are still alive because all the people here are still alive and only their souls wandered in this place. They are looking for something in this place that until now they still cannot find. Even if they will stay here for a lifetime, they couldn’t find the thing they were looking for.

"What do you mean?" Ingrith wondered.

"Ingrith, I know from the beginning that you have bad intentions toward us." She looks surprised. "I can read your mind even if you block your thoughts."

"W-What? H-How?" she stuttered. Ishmael frowned deeply.

"Because we are not ordinary magic users..." Leena said. And then look at me.

"Do you think you can stop us with just the sword you pointed at us?" I said emotionlessly and released a murderous intent. They instantly backed away a little.

"For your information, we are the princesses of the entire Moondrous World," Leena said, and they gasped at what they found out.

"And we can do the impossible possible." I nodded and noticed the tremor in their chests.

"You're just saying that to trick us!" said Ingrith and rushed at us with her sword. Leena and I just crossed our arms over our chests without moving an inch. Since she didn’t heed our warning, she was sent flying away as she only hit the invisible barrier. Ishmael was surprised upon witnessing how Ingrith was sent flying away.

"Ingrith!" he blurted out in shock. In a snap of my fingers, I teleported Ingrith in front of us. She was groaning because of the pain. She coughs up a mouthful of blood. The impact is so strong. Well, that is because she attacks with full force.

"We told you, but you didn't listen."

Ingrith glared at us with rage. She gritted her teeth and spat out some blood. She stood up and stood beside Ishmael.

"We are not ordinary magic users. We are also the granddaughters of the Goddess of Moon and Hunt, Luna."

They were even more surprised by what I said.

"I know who you are and why you are here, Ingrith... and Ismael," I said and it rendered them speechless. Well, I found out that all the beings here are not yet dead. They all have only one goal: to get the heavenly stone. And I also found out that the heavenly stone has the greatest power, but no one ever got the chance to get it or even saw it.

Suddenly, I felt powerful energy just near us. Leena and I looked at each other with eyes widened slightly. I think she felt it too.

"Did you feel that?" she asked.

"Yeah," I whispered as I looked at Ingrith and Ishmael. Their appearance changes slowly. Ingrith's goddess-like beauty turned into a hideous face, and she had horns and red eyes. Ishmael also became a monster and had horns like a demon. They are truly demons.

"Allamadin..." I uttered while staring at Ishmael. He looks shocked and as well as Ingrith.

He's the one that curses everything in Magic World. The King of Evilandia. His lips curved a smile and then laughed out loud.

"You indeed know me..." he nodded while grinning in amusement. Then he releases a powerful murderous intent. If we were ordinary magic users, we would probably be down on our knees now because of the powerful pressure. Fortunately, we were born extraordinary and our abilities couldn’t be underestimated.

"Well, yeah! I'll never let you live, Allamadin... you are bound to rot in hell!" I said and glared at them dangerously.

We will never let them have the heavenly stone and rule the whole universe. Even if it means sacrificing our own life...
