They had probably gone for a visit somewhere Clarissa couldn't help feeling awkwart, so she lowered her eyes and even tu bohlid Lilly. When Damien walked past her, he said, "Why are you avoiding mo? Also 110 psh and chips for
you."
Clarissa and Lily came to a stop.
His one sentence runnel their plans. Since they weren't allowed to have fish and chips, they chose to cat pizza instead
Althie restaurant, Clarissa was a lot more careful when speakin. She kept her voice clown and only addressed Damien as "President Lawrence"
"I don't know how he found out about those things. I'm in a really tight spot now," she said dejectedly. Lily fell terribly guilty. After all, she was the only one who told on Clarissa. For the time being she could only try to smooth things over. "That's why Ir there's anything that you haven't told him yet, you should, He'll probably let you or he look il you take the initiative to Own up."
At the mention of this, something occurred to Clarissa. "The other day, be gave me a book and told me that was the only book! was allowed to keep in my bar Do you think he knows about Josephi's book?" Lily nodded vigorously. "I'm sure lie docs! He's not even binting at it anymore. I wonder how he found out, though."
Then, Clarissa told Lily about Madelynn's text. This set Lily off."Bring Landon along with you, and tell him to wear one of the shirts that woman bought. Show her who's boss!" However, Clarissa didn't think this was a good idea. Madelynn was Damien's true love, and they would end up together eventually.
She and Damien, on the other hand, were only in a contractual marriage. There was an expiry date on their relationship.
"I'll give it some more thought." Having said that, Clarissa started eating.
When they got back to the company, Lily reminded Clarissa, "Remember to tell President Lawrence everything." Though Clarissa wasn't ecstatic about the notion, she knew she would feel even worse if Damien were to expose her unceremoniously one day.

Therefore, she grabbed "An Accountant's Journey" as well as Joseph's notes and headed toward Dainien's office.
"Did you have fish and chips again?" Damien frowned at her. Clarissa laughed awkwardly. "No, no. We had pizza this time." "Do you think it's fun to play around like this, Clarissa?" It was obvious she had angered him. "Come on, don't be mad." At the thought of her purpose for coming here, Clarissa's tone grew hesitant. "I didn't mean to do it. Anyway, I came here to give you this." She put her notebook and Joseph's book on Damien's desk. He had long since found out about this, so he wasn't surprised. "Is there anything else?"
"No! There's nothing between us, I swear." Clarissa waved her hands burriedly.
"Take them away!" Damien pushed the things back to her. What mattered to him was Clarissa's attitude. He couldn't care less about Joseph's things.
"Does this mean I'm forgiven?" she asked tentatively.
"In a way." He thien added, "This is for you."
"What is it?" She looked at the three tickets he had pushed to her.
Clarissa picked them up to see that they were tickets to the premiere of "Dear Dr. Hill". Needless to say, Madelyno had given these to him.
"Where's yours?" she asked him.
"I'm not going. I'm not interested."
So... Madelynn had given him three tickets in total? How creative of her!
Clarissa's mood soured at the thought of Madelynn.
She went back to her station, and started complaining about Madelynn to Lily. Lily: (See? She doesn't appreciate your kindness at all! Isn't she trying to tell you that there are three people in your marriage by giving you three tickets? Just do what I told you at lunch.) With that push, Clarissa decided to listen to Lily.
