Chapter 1810

“The new boss? Why is he saving us?”

“Does he have the power to do so?”

The prisoners had different opinions about him.

Many of them looked confused, but the will to survive is the most basic human instinct.

A glimmer of hope remained in their eyes.

“I do!” Emmanuel shouted. “According to the rules, the victor can determine the fate of

the defeated. Now, only the Black Wolf Clan and the Ophanim Clan remained standing.

We can determine your fate and give you freedom! Now, go!”

“Really?” The faces of the prisoners lit up instantly.

Someone tried to lead the way out. When they realized there was no hindrance, the rest

followed in a frenzy to escape

In the dim dungeon, groups of escaping prisoners met in the corridor. They were

heading in the same direction, the exit of the dungeon.

Emmanuel watched them leave, feeling a myriad of emotions. He took a deep breath

and marched toward the cell at the end of the passage.

“Hey, Black Wolf Boss! You shouldn’t go there!” some prisoners advised.

“That’s right! I heard that the last cell holds a terrifying monster!”

The group of prisoners warned him in panic. Seeing Emmanuel unmoved, they decided

to leave him alone and ran for their lives.

After the prisoners had left the corridor, he continued forward with the torch.

After some time, the cell at the end finally came into view.

The cell was made of different materials from the ordinary cells. Its walls were made of

stone, about forty inches thick.

He doubted the sturdy walls could be blasted open by a cannon, not to mention the

alloy door.

With the aid of the dim firelight, he saw a person sitting in the cell through the alloy

door.

The person’s long hair was veiling his face. Yet, his eyes shone in the darkness like

stars at night.

“You finally made it here!” The man chuckled at the cautiously approaching Emmanuel.

His statement took Emmanuel aback. Emmanuel’s curiosity eventually gave in, and he

asked, “Who are you? How do you know me?”
