Chapter 427
Chapter 427 I Am Serious
“Really!” she said. But she was suspicious about it.
Judith knew that Frank was sophisticated. She was afraid that she would fall for it.
Frank added, “Judy, I am serious.”
Judith nodded and said, “That’s true. You are indeed serious about your work. But I don’t know about your life and relationship.”
After all, Judith didn’t know Frank that much. In fact, she felt that she knew little about Frank.
“Judy, I am very serious about my life and my job,” Frank said. It was true. He was trying hard to live every day.
“So?” Judith asked as she looked at Frank. She didn’t know why he brought it out.
She knew one thing about Frank for sure. It was that he wouldn’t do things without getting something in return.
“My point is that I miss her so much!” Frank said in his deep voice. It sounded so real.
Hearing this, Judith felt sorry.
“Then why don’t you go to find her?” Judith asked without a second thought.
Frank pursed his lips bitterly. He looked in pain. He spent some time calming down, but he was so down.
“She forgets me,” Frank said: Then he looked at Judith peacefully
“She forgets you?” Judith looked at Frank in surprise.
She was bewildered by the forgetting part.
Frank nodded, his eyes deep and dark. It was hard for him to admit that Judith had really forgotten him.
“Then where is she?” Judith asked curiously.
She was curious who this lucky girl was, who could win Frank’s heart.
Frank looked at her without speaking.
Judith regretted asking it when Frank remained silent again,
But Judith didn’t like it when someone didn’t finish his story.
Frank thought that it was time to speak, so he said, “Judy, she is near to me. But she can’t remember me no matter what I do. I
really miss her!” Then he lowered his head sadly.
Frank found something weird, too. When he was with Patrick, Gary, and Edwin, he could never be so mushy. But when he was in
front of Judith, he could tell her what he was thinking about without hesitation.
And he wouldn’t feel any awkwardness.
It pained Judith to see Frank like that.
This was the second time she saw Frank in such pain.
“Frank, please don’t. Maybe she will remember you one day,” Judith comforted him. But she was more curious about why the girl
forgot Frank.
“I want her to remember me and come back to me,” Frank said sincerely.
Judith could sense that every time he mentioned that girl, Frank looked so soft and vulnerable. That was nothing like the usual
cold Frank.
Judith didn’t know how deep one’s love should be to change a cold person into such a gentle one.
“Judy,” Frank called Judith.
“I am here,” Judith said as she looked at Frank.
“Can you be my girlfriend for two days? We can do things like couples usually do, like eating and shopping. It will help ease my
pain imight feel better when I am alone in the middle of the night.” Frank looked at Judith with expectation.
Judith was stunned by his proposal.
Judith found it so ridiculous that she couldn’t accept it.
Frank realized that they were arriving on the first floor. Then a flicker of light flashed in his eyes.
