Megan nodded. "Yeah, his team is pretty capable"

Rosalind's gaze was dreamy as she spoke of him with a faint smile. "No, Chester is just different from any other man I've ever met. His abilities are beyond my imagination. Before knowing him, I never believed that a single person could complete so much and do things so well."

Yet Megan knew that he wasn't exactly an interesting person. She set down the scissors in her hand. "This isn't right. You've been talking to me about him a lot lately."

"He's just so amazing. He might be the best man 've ever-"

Megan frowned. "Stop saying things like that. It's out of line."

"Isa's not here anyway. I really want to tell you that he's the most-"

"Rosalind, do you even know what you're saying?"

Rosalind's gaze didn't seem like she was just simply admiring Chester. Staring at Megan, it took quite some time for Rosalind to realize she had overstepped. "I didn't mean it like that It's just..."

"That's not what you meant? Good. Let's get back to work. I had someone gather resources for us, and I've sent the drafts to your email. Have a look."

"Okay." Rosalind returned to her desk and opened her laptop. Yet her mind wandered elsewhere. She had never seen a man as outstanding as Chester.

Even at his lowest, he still lived an enviable life. He was capable, cared for his wife and child, and was responsible for his family. She would willingly support him and help him rise again, even during hard times.

Chester stayed in the basement until midnight, watching as every second ticked-by. At the stroke of midnight, he clicked the release button and his software launched immediately. Everyone jumped up in joy, cutting the cake and opening champagne bottles. Alexander and Ryan had been waiting for him at the club. Seeing that the software was released, they tested it right away.

"Not bad. What do you think?"

"I think it's pretty decent too."

They exchanged smiles and each called Chester and Joshua, inviting them over to celebrate.

"Are you coming or not? We've got a place all ready."

"Nope. I need to get back and see Catherine," Chester replied.

"Tsk, who would've thought you'd be the first of us to become a dad?"

That's why I'm busy..."

"At least show up for a bit-everyone's waiting.

Chester couldn't resist Alexander's enthusiasm and drove to the club.

Angelina waited late into the night, but Chester still hadn't returned. Patricia was dozing off outside, leaning against the wall that separated them.

Emily was exhausted to the point of anemia. She booked the ward next door to care for Catherine better while allowing herself to have a good night's rest.

Just then, a figure climbed up the outer wall of the hospital, using the air conditioning unit for support. He was dressed entirely in black.

Angelina was drifting in and out of sleep. When she opened her eyes, she realized someone had jumped into her ward through the window.

The window had been closed but left unlocked. At first glance, she thought she was having hallucinations.

person was carrying a large bag on his back. Terrified, Angelina let out a faint scream before her mouth was covered. She struggled with all her might and bit down hard on the person's arm.

Hearing that voice, she almost thought Chester had come to spice things up with her.

The next moment, warm drops of tears fell on her. "Why are you so foolish? You almost died having a child for someone like him. What would I have done if you died? Have you ever thought about me?" Louis? Angelina's eyes widened in shock. With the light shining in from outside, she could clearly see his face. "How did you..."
