The conversation with Richard went smoothly. Isadora gained many insights from him and nodded repeatedly.
Time passed, and Chester called Isadora, saying, "Come out."

When the car stopped at the apartment, Angelina suddenly turned around. "Isadora, don't trust people too easily. They might disappoint you."
Angelina was exhausted and shaken. As soon as she got back and lay on the bed, she felt overwhelmingly sleepy. Chester handed her a glass of water, but she didn't react at all. "Did I disappoint you?" he asked.

Those words suddenly brought tears to Angelina's eyes. Why was he apologizing for no reason?
