Last Egg: Reincarnated as a Dragon in a Game

Chapter 428 The Recreated Divine Kingdom

The dragon's huge form covered in black-purple storm hovered in the empty black void. His piercing eyes traversed the void, envisioning its future transformation.

'Both the utility, comfort, and majesty are needed.'

"Let the sun burn!" He commanded.

Instantaneously, the previously desolate expanse beneath him burst into vibrant and fiery existence as if conjured from the void itself.

Gaseous formations materialized out of nothingness, and within moments, an infernal surge of heat permeated the entire dark abyss. The entirety of the black void vanished under the sun-like flames that spread like wildfire.contemporary romance

The entirety of the floor transformed into a scorching plane, mirroring the sun's surface. Blazing solar flares erupted from it, their fiery tendrils reaching out, while dark solar spots flowed gracefully across the red and orange sun-like sea, resembling islands.

'That should take care of a lot of my elements. Now let's take care of metal and EarthEarth.'

Metal and stone abruptly appeared, colliding and melding to form colossal islands that drifted through the void, high above the fiery sea like some skyships. Their glossy, metallic black surfaces reflected the intense light and heat, withstanding the scorching temperature without any sign of melting.

The dragon's authority was absolute in his divine kingdom, and he willed them to exist and float above the sun.

'Hoho, this will be great.'

Hydrogen materialized, its temperature plummeting rapidly, causing it to liquefy. The temperature continued to drop, transforming the liquid's colour into a deep, dark shade, defying the laws of physics.

The river solidified, but the temperature continued to decrease until it turned pitch black, defying conventional physics and entering the state of an Einstein-Bose Condensate.

"Now you shall flow like rivers," the dragon commanded.

Instantly, the black bosse-condensate morphed into flowing rivers that coursed through the sky. They occasionally cascaded down as waterfalls of intense coldness, colliding explosively with streams of solar flares erupting from the fiery sea.

'At last, the lightning is needed.'

Clouds of smoke billowed, forming an impenetrable canopy above. Lightning bolts struck the smoky clouds, illuminating the surroundings with electric flashes.

'Building a palace? Nonsense, what was I even thinking then?' He wasn't a human, and even though a small part of him craved a marvelous palace, he knew he would enjoy the comfort of his perfect habitat even more, with all the elements washing and nourishing his body.

'This is the perfect form. Extreme conditions that will help me bring my maximal strength when fighting here and give me comfort when resting here.' The conditions were so extreme he was sure a human would instantly disintegrate upon just entering it.

Yet he didn't worry as it was his kingdom, and as long as someone was invited, they would be welcome and spared of its destructive environment.

As for his enemies, his eyes threateningly flared up with fire and lightning as he was sure they would suffer just from entering it.

'This just shows how extreme my elemental affinities are to create such a physics-defying environment.'

Finally, the dragon flapped his wings, and golden light enveloped him as he manifested high above the capital of his kingdom.

The entire sky darkened in his shadow, the walls, the buildings, and even the tallest towers were all submerged in the darkness.

His players crowded the streets and squares, their eyes turned on him. He could feel the awe, respect, and even fear in their gazes.

'We have both advanced sides by side from weak to this force. There must be some feeling of belonging in them.'

Still, he felt worried as their number was lower than when they left. He could see multiple of them missing, even the eye catchy ones in red, and with the weird haircut were gone.

He could see the unease and even doubts in many of his minions. He needed to remedy it to make sure they wouldn't abandon him at the worst time possible.

The dragon's booming voice made everyone quiet down, "My minions, the day of my revenge... no, the day of the revenge of the dragons has come. The elemental gods, blinded by their greed for power, have broken the balance of this world. They have tried to eradicate us, dragons, and threatened the natural order of things."

It wasn't just an empty speech but the reality. Dragons had their role, and he couldn't see it before he was trapped in the well of time.

He realized what it was only after seeing his presence born the biome in the inhospitable environment.

"This world is filled with forces and beings that can turn entire countries into bare wastelands, undead that can turn lush forests into permanently inhospitable lands of the dead. There is even magic that can annihilate matter out of existence or curse the soil."

The players stirred in the street, but the dragon's aura kept them from breaking into chaos.

He saw the future of the world, where it was slowly dying after more and more magical wars destroyed more and more of the habitable lands. Even now, the entire south of the continent was inhabitable and occupied only by the undead.

"We dragons are what is keeping all those powers in check by constantly regenerating the world. Yet some shortsighted gods think they can get rid of us."

The world nourished dragons with their elemental energy, and in return, they nourished the world with their overflowing vitality.

'I guess I am making it more severe than it should as I am sure that is the reason why they allowed wyrms and lesser dragons to survive, to at least partially mitigate this.'

He finally decided to strike the one last nail.

"This world isn't the only one. Even your world, Earth, is dying. The biomes are turning into chaos, and resources are depleting... it is a small world, and weapons are growing more and more powerful."

He was sure that even if they didn't care about his world, they would care about their own.

He could feel the fear in their hearts grow even stronger, but he also see their changes in postures as their backs straightened with pride and confidence. They no longer served just themself, motivated by greed, they could now always fall back upon the idea they worked for the good of the world.

'This should motivate them.'

He needed minions that weren't just bribed and scared to servitude, as that alone wasn't enough to bring the perfect loyalty and motivation. He needed to make them feel like they were the good ones and that they had the moral high ground above their foes.

He was no longer dependent on their strength to thrive, but he still enjoyed the luxury they brought. The rivers of XP they could farm always sped up his leveling, and most importantly, they were perfect cannon fodder and infiltrators.

"I order you to go and prepare for an absolute war. On my order, fortresses will be built in every strategic location across the continent. You will help with their construction and their defense once the response force of the corrupted gods arrives."
